Crystal Kitty is a small dog, about 9 kg, very active, full of energy, and has a strong bond with people. She is gentle, friendly, and loves human attention. She enjoys cuddles, playing, running, and especially ball games, which make her truly happy. Despite her small size, she is athletic, agile, and has an impressive vitality. It is estimated that she is about 8 years old, but in terms of energy and activity, she seems much younger. Crystal walks on a leash, is house trained, and is currently in a foster care family, where it became clear that her biggest difficulties are not "lack of character," but rather an excess of stimuli in an environment that is not ideal for her. Crystal has a strong hunting instinct. She is not compatible with cats, birds, rodents, or other small animals. She becomes extremely reactive to birds, and therefore needs to live in an urban or controlled environment, without access to gardens with birds. With other dogs, Crystal shows a dominant and possessive behavior. She likes to be the center of attention, protects her toys, the couch, and the person she refers to. In a home setting, she is not recommended to live with other dogs. On the street, she can be reactive when meeting other dogs, which requires conscious, calm, and capable caregivers who can manage these situations safely and with routine. A Cristal Kitty é uma cadela de porte pequeno, com cerca de 9 kg, muito activa, cheia de energia e com uma ligação fortíssima às pessoas. É meiga, afável e adora atenção humana. Gosta de mimos, de brincar, de correr e, sobretudo, de jogos com bola, que a deixam verdadeiramente feliz. Apesar de pequena, é uma cadela atlética, ágil e com uma vitalidade impressionante. Estima-se que tenha cerca de 8 anos, mas em termos de energia e actividade parece uma cadela muito mais jovem. A Cristal passeia com trela, é asseada dentro de casa e está actualmente numa família de acolhimento, onde se percebeu claramente que as suas maiores dificuldades não são “falta de carácter”, mas sim excesso de estímulos num ambiente que não é o ideal para ela. A Cristal tem um instinto de caça muito marcado. Não é compatível com gatos, aves, roedores ou outros pequenos animais. Fica extremamente reactiva com pássaros e, por isso, precisa de viver num ambiente urbano ou controlado, sem acesso a jardins com aves. Com outros cães, a Cristal revela um comportamento dominante e possessivo. Gosta de ser o centro das atenções, protege os seus brinquedos, o sofá e a pessoa de referência. Em contexto doméstico, não é indicada para viver com outros cães. Na rua, pode ser reactiva quando cruza outros cães, algo que requer tutores conscientes, tranquilos e capazes de gerir estas situações com segurança e rotina. Por tudo isto, a Cristal não é uma cadela difícil, é uma cadela que precisa do contexto certo: idealmente filha única sem outros animais com tutores presentes, pacientes e activos pessoas que gostem de passeios regulares, brincadeiras e interação diária
