Cutica

Mixed Breed · Male

Cutica is a small, beautiful, fluffy male with his very own charm. Once you meet him, you quickly understand why he has won so many hearts. Cutica is very open and friendly towards people. During our visit, he always came to us to get his pets, he just loves closeness and attention! He can also be a bit wild at times, but that's just part of his cheerful and lively nature. Cutica gets along well with other dogs. In his small group of several dogs, however, he is certainly one of those who like to take the lead. He knows what he wants without being fundamentally incompatible. Cats are also a natural part of Cutica's daily life. He currently lives with a private animal rights activist in Romania and knows both life in the house and in the yard. At night, he sleeps together with the other small dogs and cats in a room. Cutica is looking for people who enjoy a small, lively and people-oriented dog and who want to show him how beautiful a home can be! Maybe a whole new chapter is beginning for this little fluffy head. Are you interested in Cutica? Then apply and fill out our application form or become his foster family.

DE·Show original

About Cutica

What life with Cutica looks like

Cutica is a small adult mixed breed dog waiting at Spitz und Pawtners e.V. in Germany.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Dogs and cats typically leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with an EU pet passport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Cutica, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Cutica?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Spitz und Pawtners e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Cutica on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Cutica if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Spitz und Pawtners e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Cutica already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Cutica isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Spitz und Pawtners e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Cutica and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
