Adopt Cutie

Mixed Breed · Male · Puppy · 8 months

adoption requirements adoption process Adopt this animal now! Cutie can stay forever in its foster home! 71640 Ludwigsburg. Cutie can be visited in its foster home starting in mid-March! His story: Cluj, Romania. Shy, Cutie, Monroe, Donnie, and Jonathan – five brothers are looking for their big happiness! They were found together and can now stay with our animal rescuer Celia. Here, all of them live in a pen and not in an appropriate habitat. Therefore, it is very important that the brothers can travel quickly. Cutie is an approximately 8-month-old male dog who is likely to grow to medium size. Currently, he has a shoulder height of around 45 cm. He brings everything a little puppy can bring: he is curious, playful, friendly, and has a lot of mischief in his head. Cutie gets along well with other dogs and is more than ready for his family! Cutie is looking for people who don't expect much from him at first and show him how a normal dog life works. He is still a puppy and has a lot to learn. Sometimes, a little mishap shouldn't be taken too seriously and Cutie should always be guided with a positive training style. He is looking forward to his new life with nature walks, lots of snuggling, and also a visit to the dog training class. In the first year of life, dogs should be as little alone as possible. Additionally, the more demanding puberty is approaching. The hormone chaos turns the lives of the little rascals upside down. They "forget" a lot of what they have learned and their ears are on full alert. Therefore, it is especially important to train consistently but lovingly during this phase. And there is also good news: This phase will pass! Our Cutie travels neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and treated for fleas. He brings his EU pet passport and thanks Yvonne A. for naming him! Your namesake was the start of a new life!. This is a young, adolescent dog.

Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt dieses Tier anfragen! Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Cutie darf für immer in seiner Pflegestelle bleiben! 71640 Ludwigsburg. Vielen Dank Yvonne A.!

About Cutie

What life with Cutie looks like

Cutie is a large puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Cutie, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Cutie?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Cutie on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Cutie if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Cutie already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Cutie isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Cutie and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
