She has not grown up in an environment where she could trust a person, and now in the shelter she is slowly learning that human closeness can also mean peace, care, and security. That's why Dafne needs an understanding and patient owner who will not expect immediate purring and stroking, but will be ready to give her time. Trust will not be "off the shelf" - it will have to be built gradually. Given Dafne's character, she is not recommended for families with young children. Izskatās amizanti, bet pašai Dafnei šobrīd dzīve nemaz neliekas tik jautra. Dafne ir nedroša un tramīga. Viņa nav augusi vidē, kur cilvēkam varēja droši uzticēties, un tagad patversmē pamazām mācās, ka cilvēka tuvums var nozīmēt arī mieru, rūpes un drošību. Tāpēc Dafnei vajadzīgs saprotošs un pacietīgs saimnieks, kurš negaidīs tūlītēju murrāšanu un glaudīšanos, bet būs gatavs dot viņai laiku.
