Six dogs were taken to the shelter on October 6th by airport Riga's bird and animal control department staff. A cat had appeared on the airport territory a few days earlier. To not endanger passenger safety and not interfere with airport operations, the cat was caught and taken to the shelter. The airport area is definitely not the best place for an animal to stay. For now, the cat is very upset, so some time is needed for the animal to calm down. Only after a veterinarian examination will the sex and age be determined, as the animal does not allow anyone to approach it right now.

Mincīti 6.oktobrī patversmē nogādāja lidostas "Rīga" putnu un dzīvnieku kontroles nodaļas darbinieki Kaķis esot parādījies lidostas teritorijā pirms dažām dienām. Lai neapdraudētu pasažieru drošību un netraucētu lidostas darbību, mincis esot noķerts un nogādāts patversmē. Arī pašam dzīvniekam lidostas teritorija noteikti nav piemērotākā vieta, kur uzturēties. Pagaidām kaķis ir ļoti satraucies, tāpēc jādod mazliet laiks, lai dzīvnieks nomierinātos. Tikai pēc veterinārārsta apskates varēs precizēt dzimumu un vecumu, jo šobrīd dzīvnieks neļauj sev pat pietuvoties.
