Personality:We are delighted to introduce our sweet, friendly, super clever Collie, Daisy. She was a great companion to her family in her previous home. Unfortunately they were forced to rehome her as she was no longer getting on with her canine brother in the house. Daisy is affectionate, playfull and has been spending time in the office here where she settles well after a bit of training or a game of sheep ball. She is very foody making her a joy to train and engages really well with her handler. Behaviour:Daisy has come from a line of working farm dogs and is therefore looking for a family who love the breed and can dedicate some time daily to training games and exercise. Daisy walks very well on the lead and enjoys walking in quiet areas. She has a good re-call when a trusted relationship is established but can be a little nervous of new things at times so benefits from a calm confident handler. Daisy loves forest and beach walks and prefers to avoid other dogs. Daisy struggles to walk near fast paced traffic but she is able to travel in the car. She is well-mannered and clean in the house and loves to sit near you in the lounge. If you can offer Daisy gentle guidance and love Collies, then we would love to hear from you! Housing:Daisy should live in a quiet area away from main roads as she will try to chase cars. She would benefit from having a private enclosed garden however we would consider a rural home without a garden. She can not be re-homed to the Whiteparish area near Salisbury. Children/pets:Daisy will need to be the only dog in the home due to her previous struggles with another dog in the property. Daisy would thrive in a quieter household so should live with adults only but we would consider a quiet home with one child, 13+. Vet history:Daisy is spayed, fully vaccinated and up to date with flea and worming treatment. Adoption fee:The adoption fee is £220. If you would like to make an additional donation over and above the adoption fee, this would be hugely appreciated. Additional information:All rented and leasehold properties will require written consent from the property owner or agent. This needs to be in place before completing an application form. If your application is successful, staff will request a copy.We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the dog.Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.Due to the high number of applications we receive daily, regrettably we will only be able to contact the successful applicant.Please note you have to be 18+ to apply for an animal.
