Daisy

Mixed Breed · Female

Dear Daisy is looking for a suitable home with other rabbits, where she can arrive calmly and feel comfortable. Daisy is a female rabbit with beautiful brown fur. Unfortunately, her exact age is not known, but she has been living with us since 2025. Daisy is rather a calm and reserved rabbit. She watches her surroundings attentively and needs some time to build trust. With patience and loving care, she will certainly open up further and show her gentle side. Daisy currently lives indoors. A move to an outdoor enclosure is also possible, provided it takes place during the warm summer months and she is given enough time to get used to the new temperatures. For Daisy, we wish for a quiet home with enough space and suitable rabbit companionship, where she can arrive without stress and enjoy her new life. Daisy looks forward to meeting people who will show her, with patience and love, how wonderful it can be to have a home of her own.

About Daisy

What life with Daisy looks like

Daisy is an adult mixed breed rabbit waiting at Bertha-Bruch-Tierheim Saarbrücken in Saarbrücken.

Rabbits are social animals — most shelters recommend adopting them in bonded pairs rather than alone. They need fresh hay daily, several hours of out-of-cage time, and rabbit-safe spaces to explore. They live eight to twelve years, longer than many people expect.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

Paperwork, vet checks and transport rules differ by species and by country. Ask the shelter what is included and what you will need to arrange before you commit.

Frequently asked

Adopting Daisy, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Daisy?: Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Bertha-Bruch-Tierheim Saarbrücken handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Daisy on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Daisy if I live in another country?: Sometimes. Whether a rabbit can move between countries depends on the species and the rules in both countries, and some species need permits or have restrictions. Ask Bertha-Bruch-Tierheim Saarbrücken what paperwork and transport they require, and check the import rules of your country before you commit.
Is Daisy already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?: What a rabbit comes with (vet checks, vaccinations, identification, paperwork) varies by shelter and species. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask Bertha-Bruch-Tierheim Saarbrücken directly what is included and what Daisy still needs.
What happens if Daisy isn't the right fit?: Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Bertha-Bruch-Tierheim Saarbrücken early rather than rehoming privately; they know Daisy and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?: TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
