Damián was found on Žižkova street in Košice, the Juh district. When he arrived, he had fleas and ticks and a few days later he was diagnosed with babesiosis, which he managed to overcome. Damián is a playful, active dog who loves movement and new stimuli. He likes to explore his surroundings, enjoys walks and very much enjoys being part of what's going on around him. He doesn't pull on the leash and can enjoy walks nicely at a calm pace. He is friendly and contact-oriented towards people, seeks human company and is happy to be part of a normal day. He gets along well with other dogs and female dogs, likes to play and romp. However, he can calm down dominant males - if he feels pressure, he can set his boundaries and defend his space. He is not a dog that seeks conflicts, rather he reacts to the situation. Handling is trouble-free. However, it should be taken into account that he guards his food bowl (for now) - towards dogs and people, so it is important to respect his space during feeding. Damián is looking for a home in an apartment or a house with full access inside, or possibly with the possibility of staying outside in a high-quality insulated shelter. He will be a great companion for people who like an active dog, but will also appreciate his ability to adapt. Damián is looking for a stable home where he will have his place and the security that he will not have to start over again.

Damián sa našiel na ulici Žižkova v Košiciach, mestská časť Juh. Pri príchode mal blchy aj kliešte a pár dní nato mu bola diagnostikovaná babezióza, ktorú zvládol. Damián je hravý, aktívny psík, ktorý má rád pohyb a nové podnety. Rád skúma okolie, užíva si prechádzky a veľmi rád sa zapája do diania okolo seba. Na vodítku neťahá a prechádzky si vie pekne užívať aj v pokojnom tempe. K ľuďom je priateľský a kontaktný, spoločnosť človeka vyhľadáva a je rád, keď môže byť súčasťou bežného dňa. So psami aj fenkami vychádza dobre, rád sa s nimi hrá a šantí. Dominantnejších samcov si však vie usmerniť – ak cíti tlak, dokáže si nastaviť hranice a brániť svoj priestor. Nie je to psík, ktorý by konflikty vyhľadával, skôr reaguje na situáciu. Manipulácia je bezproblémová. Treba však počítať s tým, že si stráži misku s jedlom (zatiaľ) – voči psom aj ľuďom, preto je dôležité pri kŕmení rešpektovať jeho priestor. Damián hľadá domov v byte alebo v dome s úplným prístupom dovnútra, prípadne aj s možnosťou pobytu vonku pri kvalitnej zateplenej búdke. Bude dobrým parťákom pre ľudí, ktorí majú radi aktívneho psíka, no zároveň ocenia jeho schopnosť prispôsobiť sa. Damián si hľadá stabilný domov, kde bude mať svoje miesto a istotu, že už nebude musieť znova začínať odznova.
