Sára was found abandoned near a gas station not far from Košice. She wasn't alone – her psí companion was with her. By the time we learned about them, his unfortunate accident had already occurred. Sára stayed by his side until the very end, and it was precisely because of this that she managed to be saved. Since her arrival at our shelter on July 13, 2018, she has been waiting for a person who will finally give her a real home. Sára is a sweet, friendly, and active female dog who enjoys movement and the company of people. For her age, she is quite active – she would rather go for a walk or a hike, but she will be just as content to rest with her family. She quickly forms a strong bond with people and genuinely enjoys their attention. She is intelligent, trainable, and with proper guidance, she will make a great companion for a regular life and shared outings. In the summer, she very much enjoys water and swimming in the pool. She gets along well with other dogs, both male and female, but it could happen that a male dog might try to mount her. Therefore, we recommend that the introduction be handled gradually and sensitively. She has good hygiene habits. Sára is looking for a home where she will have plenty of attention, movement, and shared time with her people. She is better suited to experienced individuals who already have experience with dogs and can set her clear, but loving guidance. She is looking for a home in an apartment or a house with full access inside. Sára has been waiting for her family for years. Despite this, she hasn't lost her joy in the proximity of people and still believes that there is a place waiting for her where she will finally belong forever.

Sára sa našla vyhodená pri benzínovej pumpe neďaleko Košíc. Nebola tam sama – bol s ňou aj jej psí kamarát. Kým sme sa o nich dozvedeli, jeho bohužiaľ zrazilo auto. Sára pri ňom ostala až do poslednej chvíle a práve vďaka tomu sa ju podarilo zachrániť. Od svojho príchodu do útulku 13.07.2018 čaká na človeka, ktorý jej konečne dá skutočný domov. Sára je milá, kontaktná a aktívna fenočka, ktorá si užíva pohyb aj spoločnosť ľudí. Na svoj vek je aktívna primerane – rada pôjde na prechádzku či výlet, no rovnako spokojná bude aj pri oddychu so svojou rodinou. K človeku si rýchlo vytvára pevné puto a pozornosť si úprimne užíva. Je inteligentná, učenlivá a pri správnom vedení z nej bude skvelá parťáčka do bežného života aj na spoločné výlety. V lete si veľmi rada užíva vodu a kúpanie v bazéniku. So psami aj fenkami u nás vo všeobecnosti vychádza dobre, no môže sa stať, že jej niektorý psík nesadne. Zoznámenie preto odporúčame riešiť postupne a citlivo. Hygienické návyky má. Sára hľadá domov, kde bude mať dostatok pozornosti, pohybu a spoločného času so svojimi ľuďmi. Vhodnejšia je skôr ku skúsenejším ľuďom, ktorí už majú so psami skúsenosti a vedia jej nastaviť jasné, ale láskavé vedenie. Domov si hľadá v byte alebo v dome s úplným prístupom dovnútra. Sára čaká na svoju rodinu už dlhé roky. Napriek tomu nestratila radosť z blízkosti človeka a stále verí, že aj na ňu raz čaká miesto, kde bude konečne patriť navždy.
