At the animal shelter, another cat severely injured her eye. She had to move to a Spanish foster home because her eye needed treatment multiple times a day. Dana recovered well, her left eye is pale, but she can probably still see something. Unfortunately, her bad luck didn't end there. In late 2023, she was also tested positive for FIP. But Dana didn't want to give up and fought her way back to life. As a result of this illness, Dana has lost control of her bladder and bowels; she has to wear a diaper. Dana is shy around strangers but allows her trusted humans to pet her. She is awake and playful. She lives very harmoniously with several other cats, and an indoor dog also lives in the foster home. Therefore, we wish Dana a home where one or more compatible playmates are already waiting. If no little tiger has enriched your life yet, we will gladly advise you on the selection of a suitable partner upon request. She will not be placed in single housing. A home with a cat-safe balcony would be ideal to give her a happy life with plenty of fresh air and sunlight. Dana is already neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested negative for FIV (Cat AIDS) and FeLV (Leukemia). She is in a foster home of the animal shelter Casas Ibanez, Spain. ♀, geb. ca. 4/2023Handicap - aufgeweckt – verkuschelt in Casas Ibanez/spanien Fremdvermittlung Dana ist eine ca. 4/2023 geborene Katze. Dana hat bisher kein leichtes Leben gehabt. Im Tierheim hat eine andere Katze sie am Auge schwer verletzt. Sie musste auf eine spanische Pflegestelle umziehen, da das Auge mehrmals am Tag behandelt werden musste. Dana erholte sich gut, ihr linkes Auge ist blass, aber sie kann vermutlich trotzdem etwas sehen. Leider endete ihre Pechsträhne damit nicht. Ende 2023 wurde sie dann auch noch positiv auf FIP getestet. Doch Dana wollte noch nicht gehen und kämpfte sich tapfer zurück ins Leben. Als Folge dieser Krankheit hat Dana jedoch ihre Schließmuskeln nicht unter Kontrolle, uriniert und hat einen unkontrollierten Stuhlgang. Sie muss eine Windel tragen. Dana ist Fremden gegenüber schüchtern, lässt sich von ihr vertrauten Menschen aber gerne streicheln. Sie ist aufgeweckt und verspielt. Sie lebt mit mehreren Katzen sehr verträglich zusammen, auch ein ruhiger Hund lebt bei der Pflegestelle. Deshalb wünschen uns für Dana ein Zuhause, in dem bereits ein oder mehrere passende Spielkameraden auf sie warten. Falls noch kein kleiner Stubentiger Ihr Leben bereichert, beraten wir Sie auf Wunsch gern bei der Auswahl eines passenden Partners. Sie wird nicht in Einzelhaltung abgegeben. Ein Zuhause mit einem katzensicheren Balkon wäre ideal, um ihr ein glückliches Leben mit viel frischer Luft und Sonnenlicht zu ermöglichen.
