D'Artagnan

Mixed Breed · Male · Kitten · 6 months

D’Artagnan is a beautiful black-and-white kitten who arrived at Triple A with his four siblings, without their mother. Sadly, three of them did not survive. His Siamese brother, Athos, has already found a family, and now it is D’Artagnan’s turn to discover the happiness of having a home of his own. At first, he was very frightened and confused, which is completely understandable for such a tiny kitten suddenly finding himself alone in an unfamiliar environment. With patience, care and lots of love, he gradually began to gain confidence day by day. He is now more affectionate, enjoys being stroked and allows himself to be picked up and held. He is still a little bundle of curiosity, eager to play, explore and discover everything around him. D’Artagnan has spent his first months of life surrounded by his siblings and is used to having other cats around. For this reason, we would love to find him a family where he can have a compatible feline companion, whether another kitten or a friendly, sociable cat. 💛 After everything he has been through, D’Artagnan deserves to grow up in a safe home, surrounded by love and with a family who will care for him and cherish him forever. ✨ Athos has already found his home. Will you give D’Artagnan the chance he deserves? 🐾 🏡 To ensure his safety, it is essential that windows and terraces have appropriate protective measures in place before adoption. 📩 Adoption enquiries: 📸 Follow us on Instagram:

About D'Artagnan

What life with D'Artagnan looks like

D'Artagnan is a small kitten mixed breed cat waiting at Triple A Marbella in Marbella.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇪🇸Adopting from Spain

Spanish protectoras generally include sterilization, all vaccinations, microchip ID, and EU pet passport in the adoption fee. Many maintain partnerships with rescue transport providers across the EU.

Frequently asked

Adopting D'Artagnan, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about D'Artagnan?: Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Triple A Marbella handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw D'Artagnan on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt D'Artagnan if I live in another country?: Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Triple A Marbella will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is D'Artagnan already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?: Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if D'Artagnan isn't the right fit?: Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Triple A Marbella early rather than rehoming privately; they know D'Artagnan and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?: TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
