Dian

Mixed Breed · Female · Puppy · 4 months

Hometown: Romania Breed: mixed breed Gender: male, neutered Color: beige Shoulder height: 38 cm. Weight: 8 kgBirthdate: around December 2025Location: 66346 Püttlingen This handsome, approximately 4-month-old male dog from Romania is looking for his forever home. With his loving gaze and friendly nature, he wins everyone's hearts instantly. He shows himself as an absolutely lovable, playful, and open young puppy who curiously explores the world. He gets along well with other dogs, is already familiar with children, and also with cats – and meets all with friendliness and openness. For his age, he already brings some great approaches: On the leash, he already runs surprisingly well and orientates himself beautifully to humans. Of course, he still needs to learn the dog 1×1, but he brings the best prerequisites to develop into an excellent companion. He is expected to grow to a medium size and fits into many life situations. Whether family, single person, or active couple – this little treasure is simply a roundly great dog. Now, he just needs a loving home where he can arrive, find security, and continue to grow – physically and mentally. Who gives this wonderful boy the chance at a happy dog life? Contact: Samantha email: Our dogs are vaccinated (rabies and 2x basic immunization), microchipped, and equipped with the EU pet passport at our expense (we cover the lab fees) tested for common Mediterranean diseases: Babesiosis, Ehrlichiosis, leishmaniasis, rickettsiae, filariasis, hepatozoonosis, anaplasmosis. Important documents:. This is a young, adolescent dog.

About Dian

What life with Dian looks like

Dian is a large puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Tierhilfe Lebenswert e.V. in Oberwies.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Dian, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Dian?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierhilfe Lebenswert e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Dian on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Dian if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierhilfe Lebenswert e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Dian already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Dian isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierhilfe Lebenswert e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Dian and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
