Diego was found at a gas station near the shelter, where he was running on the road and was in danger. Probably someone callously threw him there, endangering not only him but also people on the road. Diego is an active dog who enjoys fetching and also likes to dig. He likes the company of people, but needs clear boundaries and a patient owner. Handling him was difficult at first - he growled when touched around the neck and needed to get used to it gradually. Currently, handling him in normal situations is fine, but he requires a muzzle during veterinary examinations because he tends to defend himself. Diego gets along well with female dogs and is friendly towards them, but does not get along with other dogs. He behaves politely during the day, does not destroy anything, and has good hygiene habits with regular walks. Diego is a dog who deserves a second chance. Despite a difficult beginning, he is ready to find an experienced person who will provide him with safety and stability. Diego sa našiel na čerpacej stanici v blízkosti útulku, kde pobehoval po ceste a bol v ohrození. Pravdepodobne ho tam niekto bezcitne vyhodil, čím ohrozil nielen jeho, ale aj ľudí na ceste. Diego je aktívny psík, ktorý si užíva aportovanie a rád sa zabaví aj hrabaním. Má rád spoločnosť ľudí, no potrebuje jasné hranice a trpezlivého majiteľa. Manipulácia s ním bola na začiatku náročná – pri dotykoch okolo krku vrčal a potreboval si na ne postupne zvyknúť. Momentálne je manipulácia v bežných situáciách v poriadku, no na veterinárnom vyšetrení si vyžaduje náhubok, pretože má snahu sa brániť. S fenkami vychádza dobre a je k nim priateľský, no s inými psami sa neznesie. Dnu sa správa slušne, nič neničí a hygienické návyky má pri pravidelnom venčení. Diego je psík, ktorý si zaslúži druhú šancu. Napriek ťažkému začiatku je pripravený nájsť si skúseného človeka, ktorý mu poskytne bezpečie a stabilitu.
