But do not be fooled by his relaxed demeanor, because as soon as you sit down with him, Diesel immediately gets up. First, he stretches extensively and then he is ready: cuddle time! Diesel is a sweet and affectionate cat who can fully enjoy attention. If you pet him nicely on his head, he can close his eyes contentedly. And if you stop something too quickly? Then you often get a few sweet kisses, as if he wants to say clearly: "Hey, I wasn't ready yet!" If he feels completely at ease, he sometimes even lies down on your lap. Diesel knows what he wants and has a clear character of his own. He does not like to be forced and likes to do things at his own pace. At times, Diesel also likes to make his presence known. Maar vergis je niet in zijn rustige houding, want zodra je bij hem gaat zitten, komt Diesel meteen overeind. Eerst even uitgebreid strekken en dan is hij er helemaal klaar voor: knuffeltijd! Diesel is een lieve en aanhankelijke kater die volop kan genieten van aandacht. Aai je hem lekker over zijn koppie, dan kan hij zijn oogjes tevreden dichtknijpen. En stop je iets te snel? Dan krijg je vaak een paar lieve kopjes, alsof hij duidelijk wil zeggen: “Hé, ik was nog niet klaar hoor!” Als hij zich helemaal op zijn gemak voelt, komt hij soms zelfs heerlijk bij je op schoot liggen. Wel is het belangrijk om zijn gezondheid regelmatig te laten controleren. Het advies is om elke zes maanden zijn bloeddruk te meten en een urineonderzoek uit te voeren. Op die manier kunnen eventuele veranderingen tijdig worden opgemerkt en behandeld.
