We had already reported on Dieters rescue on our social media channels. He was found in a garden center, where he had become entangled in rusty metal. We were able to free Dieter and he came to our partner animal shelter Allatbarat in Hungary. Upon arrival, the full extent of his condition became apparent. He was in very poor general health. His claws were too long, his teeth heavily worn - signs suggesting Dieter spent a large part of his life on a chain. We cannot say for certain what his life was like. It probably wasn't always pleasant. Dieter is a nice and friendly senior. He is people-oriented, open and quite interested in his environment. He is agile, wants to move and will certainly still enjoy relaxed walks and small joint activities. Dieter is a fairly uncomplicated dog who doesn't make big demands. And he walks nicely on a leash and loves riding in the car. Dieter is a senior who doesn't need big adventures anymore, but please not exclusively a couch potato. The gentleman still wants to experience a bit, because in his previous life he was denied so much. Since Dieter will remain unneutered, we prefer to find him a single place.

Über Dieters Rettungsaktion hatten wir auf unseren Social-Media Kanälen bereits berichtet. Gefunden wurde er in einem Gartencenter, wo er sich zwischen herumliegendem und verrostetem Metall verfangen hatte. Wir konnten Dieter befreien und so kam er in unser Partnertierheim Allatbarat in Ungarn. Dort angekommen, wurde erst das ganze Ausmaß sichtbar. Er war in einem sehr schlechten Allgemeinzustand. Seine Krallen waren viel zu lang, seine Zähne stark abgenutzt – Spuren, die vermuten lassen, dass Dieter einen großen Teil seines Lebens an der Kette verbringen musste. Wie sein Leben tatsächlich aussah, können wir nicht mit Sicherheit sagen. Schön dürfte es vermutlich aber nicht immer gewesen sein. Dieter ist ein netter und freundlicher Senior. Er zeigt sich menschenbezogen, aufgeschlossen und durchaus interessiert an seiner Umwelt. Er ist agil, möchte sich bewegen und wird sicherlich noch viel Freude an entspannten Spaziergängen und kleinen gemeinsamen Unternehmungen haben. Dieter ist rundum ein ziemlich unkomplizierter Hund, der keine großen Ansprüche stellt. Und er läuft brav an der Leine und fährt lieb im Auto mit. Dieter ist ein Senior der keine großen Abenteuer mehr benötigt, aber bitte auch noch nicht ausschließlich Sofa. Ein bisschen was möchte der Herr schließlich noch erleben, denn in seinem bisherigen Leben wurde ihm so viel vorenthalten.
