Meet Dick - a dog from Kostyantynivka, who was rescued just a few days before a shell completely destroyed his house. He was left alone after his summer owner evacuated, and he was fed by the neighbors, but then they also left. If it hadn't been for the volunteers of the animal shelter, the animal would have died there, as Dick didn't go anywhere from the yard. Therefore, he was incredibly lucky to end up safe in time. Dick still has a strong reaction to loud sounds - he starts trembling, panicking. In the kennel run, he completely closes down, refuses to eat, so now he lives in foster care at a volunteer's house. There he can be with people, and only like that he is calm. Dick is calm and obedient, he absolutely needs someone next to him, because he is a true companion dog, people-oriented. He is not a dog for a yard or a cage - he needs a family to learn to trust people again. He is already neutered, vaccinated and is waiting for a family that will help him believe in safety and love again.
