Adopt Dingo

Mixed Breed · Male

Birth Date: 2015 Size: Large Dingo is a large dog, found by us last year when he was a puppy. He was in a crate with three of his brothers for 36 months. Recently, his brothers have been fighting, though they don't know the reason, and Dingo ended up with an injured ear. Now, the wound is healing without issues, but it would be even better if he could find a family that can offer him peace and attention, as he needs. Dingo needs to be in court because he barks loudly and often, and at the block, he wouldn't last long until complaints from neighbors start. Additionally, Dingo is timid and needs a patient family capable of changing his routine and restoring his trust in people. You can find Dingo at:

In plus Dingo este timid si are nevoie de o familie rabdatoare capabila sa-i schimbe firea si sa-i redea increderea in oameni. Pe Dingo il gasiti la : Click aici pentru mai multe poze

About Dingo

What life with Dingo looks like

Dingo is a large adult mixed breed dog waiting at Asociatia ROBI / 4animals.ro in Romania.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. A larger dog like this one needs daily off-leash time when possible — a fenced yard or regular access to safe walking trails. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇷🇴Adopting from Romania

Romanian rescues handle the highest volume of cross-border adoptions in the EU. Animals are quarantined and fully vetted before transport. Reputable rescues maintain detailed health records and post-adoption follow-up.

Frequently asked

Adopting Dingo, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Dingo?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Asociatia ROBI / 4animals.ro handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Dingo on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Dingo if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Asociatia ROBI / 4animals.ro will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Dingo already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Dingo isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Asociatia ROBI / 4animals.ro early rather than rehoming privately; they know Dingo and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (RO). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
