Dino blood

Mixed Breed · Male · Adult · 9 years

DINO is one of the 30 cats we rescued in June from a shelter called "Vampiro de Humanes." He was draining the blood of dogs and cats to sell it until he left the animals drained. DINO is a 9-year-old kitten who has been at the animal shelter for 4 long years, waiting for his chance. All this time, he has gone unnoticed, watching as others go home while he continues to wait. He is a shy cat, one who needs his space and time. But he is also curious: he observes, approaches little by little, and can't resist treats, which he picks up carefully as he starts to trust. DINO doesn't need much. He doesn't ask for much, just someone who understands his pace, who gives him patience and tranquility, and who lets him be himself. With time, small gestures, and affection, he takes little steps that speak volumes. DINO needs a chance: a home where he can finally feel safe and loved. He is already neutered. Test FELV-FIV.

Test FELV-FIV. Mostrar más de su historia Mostrar menos

About Dino blood

What life with Dino blood looks like

Dino blood is a adult mixed breed cat waiting at ALBA Protectora Madrid in Madrid.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇪🇸Adopting from Spain

Spanish protectoras generally include sterilization, all vaccinations, microchip ID, and EU pet passport in the adoption fee (typically €250–€400 for a dog, €100–€180 for a cat). Many maintain partnerships with rescue transport providers across the EU.

Frequently asked

Adopting Dino blood, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Dino blood?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. ALBA Protectora Madrid handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Dino blood on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Dino blood if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — ALBA Protectora Madrid will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Dino blood already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Dino blood isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with ALBA Protectora Madrid early rather than rehoming privately; they know Dino blood and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (ES). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
