Adopt Doraimon

Mixed Breed · Male · Senior · 11 years

Doraimon arrived at the animal shelter with a lot of fear, especially of men. We can tell that her past wasn't easy. With patience and love, she has improved a great deal. She loves going out to play and is becoming more relaxed every day. She needs a calm home with someone who has some experience to help her finish overcoming her fears. Doraimon, Abbot, and Kiss live together at the animal shelter and have created their little team. They play, run around, keep each other company, and help each other. Together they form a small clan that has a great time. But although they share happy moments here, what they really need is a home. They don't have to be adopted together, but what they do need is to leave the animal shelter and have their own chance. The three of them have left behind their fear. Now all they lack is a family to give them the happy ending they deserve.

About Doraimon

What life with Doraimon looks like

Doraimon is a senior mixed breed dog waiting at A.D.A. Noguera in Spain.

Senior dogs settle in faster than younger ones. They want a soft bed, predictable meals, and short, sniff-heavy walks rather than runs. Many senior rescues bond deeply within weeks because they understand exactly how good a stable home is. Expect occasional vet visits for joint or dental care.

🇪🇸Adopting from Spain

Spanish protectoras generally include sterilization, all vaccinations, microchip ID, and EU pet passport in the adoption fee (typically €250–€400 for a dog, €100–€180 for a cat). Many maintain partnerships with rescue transport providers across the EU.

Frequently asked

Adopting Doraimon, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Doraimon?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. A.D.A. Noguera handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Doraimon on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Doraimon if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — A.D.A. Noguera will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Doraimon already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Doraimon isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with A.D.A. Noguera early rather than rehoming privately; they know Doraimon and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (ES). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
