Hometown: Spain Dolly is a sturdy female dog who was found in a terrible condition in Huércal-Overa by a former volunteer helper: covered in old wounds, severely underweight, and desperately searching for food. She was brought to safety and taken in by our animal shelter. Dolly is a very friendly and affectionate female dog. She loves all people and enjoys attention as well as extensive cuddles. By now, she has learned to walk nicely on a leash, and she plays gently and carefully with people. With other dogs, she is unsure. We suspect that she was attacked by other dogs in the past, which is why she cannot live with fellow animals. Therefore, we are looking for a home for Dolly where she will be the only pet. However, it is important to emphasize that Dolly is not a lost cause: with skilled, patient, and sensitive guidance, she can certainly make progress in interacting with other dogs and gain more security. For Dolly, we wish for a loving home with a garden where she can move freely, play, and enjoy long walks. She is a wonderful female dog, very people-oriented and cuddly, and she looks forward to any form of attention.

Herkunftsland: Spanien Dolly ist eine stattliche Hündin, die in Huércal-Overa von einer ehemaligen freiwilligen Helferin in einem schrecklichen Zustand gefunden wurde: übersät mit alten Wunden, stark untergewichtig und verzweifelt auf der Suche nach Futter. Sie wurde in Sicherheit gebracht und in unser Tierheim aufgenommen. Dolly ist eine sehr freundliche und liebevolle Hündin. Sie liebt alle Menschen und geniesst Aufmerksamkeit sowie ausgiebige Streicheleinheiten. Inzwischen hat sie gelernt, schön an der Leine zu laufen, und sie spielt sanft und vorsichtig mit Menschen. Bei anderen Hunden ist sie unsicher. Wir vermuten, dass sie in der Vergangenheit von anderen Hunden angegriffen wurde, weshalb sie nicht mit Artgenossen zusammenleben kann. Deshalb suchen wir für Dolly ein Zuhause, in dem sie das einzige Haustier sein darf. Wichtig ist uns jedoch zu betonen, dass Dolly kein hoffnungsloser Fall ist: Mit fachkundiger, geduldiger und einfühlsamer Begleitung kann sie im Umgang mit anderen Hunden bestimmt Fortschritte machen und weiter an Sicherheit gewinnen.
