Female · Adult · 4 years

Could you be my perfect match? Hello! My name is I can live with Dogs Cats Children MY story ❤️ DOLLY NEEDS A FOREVER HOME ❤️Dolly came to us from Romania a number of months ago, and sadly, the life she had there was beyond hellish. When we found her, although she was finally safe from the beatings she had endured, she was still spending her life living on a chain.Yasmine made Dolly a promise — that she would give her the better life she so desperately deserved. 💔Sadly, things haven't gone to plan, and Dolly has now been returned to us for the second time.We desperately want this to be the last time Dolly ever has to experience the heartbreak of losing her home. She is honestly one of the sweetest and most loving dogs you could imagine, especially considering everything humans have put her through. 🥺❤️❤️ A little about DollyDolly has previously lived happily with other dogs but would most likely benefit by being the only dog in the house. She has a very soft nature and is submissive with people and dogs. She can get very playful with dogs however with people she will roll over and loves a belly rub.She understands sit, down, paw, come and loves to please for a treat. What Dolly loves:🧸 Lots of toys❤️ Lots of cuddles🐾 Plenty of walks and different scenery👃 Lots of opportunities to sniff and explore🛋️ Calm strokes and relaxing on the sofa🏡 Being with her person or family🐾 Things Dolly is working onDolly can sometimes be unsure of what's going on around her, particularly when meeting new dogs or people and be shy. Dolly has mid-level energy and can have the occasional burst of wind-up in her tail! 😂🐾 But generally, she is a calm girl who simply wants to be with her people.Dolly enjoys being with you. She loves company and enjoys a calm stroke on the sofa just as much as she enjoys a walk filled with lots of sniffs.🏡 What Dolly really wants isn't complicated…🏡 A cosy sofa❤️ A loving family🐾 Someone who understands her🫶 Someone who will give her time to trust💗 Someone who will let her settle at her own pace🌟 And, most importantly, someone who will promise that she is finally home for goodDolly is house clean, and she has so much love to give to the right person! MY PERFECT HOME Dolly needs a secure garden with 6ft fencing minimum and no gaps at all. As with all dogs on going training will be needed. Dolly may be able to live with another calm dog similar size to her. But no cats or children please. OUR 1 Fill in application form Please fill in the form as honestly as possible. Our team will read the application and make sure it is the right match for the dog being applied for. 2 We will arrange a home check If you and the dogs seem a good fit we will call you to discuss further, arrange to meet the dog and arrange a physical home check at your home. 3 Matched with your dog Once we have agreed together that this is the right dog for you we will arrange for your dog to come to you. Depending whether this is via kennels or foster homes it may vary. 4 Ongoing Support We love to keep in touch with everyone and hope you will reach out if you have any concerns or questions. About Dolly

What life with Dolly looks like

Dolly is a medium-sized adult dog waiting at Angels 4 Dogs Rescue in United Kingdom.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Dolly, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Dolly?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Angels 4 Dogs Rescue handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Dolly on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Dolly if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Angels 4 Dogs Rescue will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Dolly already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Dolly isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Angels 4 Dogs Rescue early rather than rehoming privately; they know Dolly and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
