Donnuts

Mixed Breed · Male · Baby

Biscuit and his brother Donuts, born in April 2026, arrived at the shelter after an unwanted birth. These two young guinea pigs are still a bit timid simply because they haven't been handled much. With a gentle, patient family that respects their pace, they will quickly learn to trust. They can be adopted together or join a compatible companion already in their future family. Like all guinea pigs, they will need a spacious habitat, hay at will, fresh vegetables every day... and lots of love. !! Adoption must be a thoughtful act!! ********************************************** Information on Donuts Sex: Male Date of birth: April 2026 Available for adoption

FR·Show original

!! Une adoption doit être un acte réfléchis !! ********************************************** Information sur Donuts Sexe : Mâle Date de naissance : Avril 2026 Disponible à l’adoption

About Donnuts

What life with Donnuts looks like

Donnuts is a puppy/kitten mixed breed animal waiting at L in Belgium.

Every animal has their own temperament and history. The shelter knows Donnuts far better than any listing can convey — ask about daily routine, ideal household, and what kind of adopter they're hoping for.

🇧🇪Adopting from Belgium

Belgian shelters operate under regional law (Flanders, Wallonia, Brussels each have their own rules). All adoptions include the Eurochip, vaccinations, and a stewardship contract. Several Flemish shelters partner with Dutch and German rescue networks.

Frequently asked

Adopting Donnuts, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Donnuts?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. L handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Donnuts on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Donnuts if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — L will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Donnuts already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most animals on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Donnuts isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with L early rather than rehoming privately; they know Donnuts and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (FR). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
