Hi everyone, I’m Dora, a gorgeous 3 year old Cockapoo and, if I do say so myself, a VERY lovable little lady! 🥰 I’m friendly, cuddly and absolutely adore people, so if you’re looking for a dog who will happily become your little shadow, I might just be your girl! I love everyone I meet and I’m always ready to make a new best friend. My favourite place to be is right next to my people, preferably on the sofa, where I can enjoy plenty of cuddles and generally make myself very comfortable! I’m quite attached to my humans and I’m used to having someone around with me all the time, so I do find being left on my own a bit tricky. Because of this, I’m looking for a home where I can have very low leaving hours to begin with. I’ll need someone who is happy to take things slowly and build up my time alone very gradually, at my own pace. I’m sure with the right support I can learn that my people really are coming back, but I’ll need someone patient who understands that this will be a process. At bedtime, I currently sleep in my own bed in my owner’s bedroom and I’d really like to keep this routine in my new home. I can struggle if I’m left alone at night, so having my own little bed in your bedroom would make me very happy indeed! I’m a very clever girl and I’m fully housetrained. I’m always up for a bit of playtime and then, naturally, I’ll need a nice cuddle afterwards because all that playing is very tiring when you’re this cute! I’d ideally like to be the only pet in my new home so I can have all the love and attention for myself! However, I do get on well with other dogs and would be very happy to have some doggy walking buddies to meet up with. I do have a rather enthusiastic interest in chasing small animals, though, so I wouldn’t be suitable to live with small furries. This also means I need to stay on lead for all of my walks as I am quite fond of chasing wildlife too! I could live with children aged 11 years and over, and I’d love a family who will include me in their everyday life. A fully secure garden with a 6ft fence would be perfect too, as I’d love somewhere safe to potter around, play with my toys and have a good nosey about. I’m a very loving, affectionate and clever little girl, and I really do adore being with my people. I’m looking for someone who will appreciate just how much of a little Velcro Cockapoo I am and who is happy to help me build my confidence with being apart from them, one tiny step at a time. In return, I promise plenty of cuddles, toy time, happy wiggles and a whole lot of love! 💕
