Mit ihren kurzen Beinchen, dem fröhlichen Grinsen, den kleinen Sommersprossen an den Pfötchen und ihrem ganz eigenen „low rider“-Gang zieht sie wirklich alle Blicke auf sich. Irgendwo zwischen Jack Russell Terrier, vielleicht etwas Corgi und ganz viel eigener Persönlichkeit entstand diese unverwechselbare kleine Gute-Laune-Hündin. Dottie wurde am 25.08.2024 geboren, ist ca. 40 cm groß und bringt etwa 20 kg Lebensfreude mit. Sie gehört zu den kleineren mittelgroßen Hunden, ist aktuell eher etwas moppelig gebaut und steht auf ihren niedlichen kurzen Beinchen wie ein kleines Kraftpaket durchs Leben. Und Energie hat sie reichlich! Dottie ist aktiv, verspielt, clever und liebt Menschen über alles. Sie möchte mittendrin sein, Abenteuer erleben, lernen, rennen, lachen und gemeinsam mit ihren Menschen die Welt entdecken. Mit anderen Hunden versteht sie sich toll und auch Katzen sind für sie okay. Sie lernt aktuell noch das Laufen an der Leine und lebt momentan draußen, bringt aber eine enorme Neugier und Lernfreude mit. Dottie ist schlau, aufmerksam und definitiv kein Hund für reine Couchmenschen – sie sucht aktive Menschen, die Lust auf Beschäftigung, Spaß und gemeinsames Training haben. Gleichzeitig wünschen wir uns Menschen, die ihre besondere Körperform im Blick behalten. Durch ihre kurzen Beine und den langen Körper sollten viele Treppen möglichst vermieden oder unterstützt werden – zum Beispiel durch Tragen, Rampen oder bewusst gelenkschonendes Management. Gerade weil sie noch jung ist, wäre es schön, wenn man früh gut auf ihren Körper achtet. Ihre Vergangenheit war alles andere als leicht. Dottie wurde gemeinsam mit ihrem Bruder auf einem Feld gefunden. Die beiden versuchten tagelang, zwischen Müll und Abfällen zu überleben. Während Dottie gerettet werden konnte, wurde ihr Bruder wenige Monate später tot in einem Kanal gefunden. Trotz allem hat Dottie ihre Lebensfreude nicht verloren. Sie liebt das Leben. Sie liebt Menschen. Und sie wartet darauf, endlich irgendwo wirklich anzukommen.
