Dr. Dre is a gray/blue tabby cat who has been spayed and microchipped. He prefers to live with other cats in a home or apartment, but he can also adapt well to living indoors alone. When Dr. Dre first arrived at our shelter, he was hesitant about his new surroundings, unfamiliar people, and other cats. To ensure everyone's comfort, he initially requested some space. Over time, however, Dr. Dre has grown more comfortable and enjoys being petted and receiving attention from humans. He is a calm and laid-back cat who doesn't crave constant excitement. Instead, he appreciates a peaceful atmosphere and people who value his tranquil nature. We think he would be a great fit for quiet individuals or families. Dr. Dre gets along well with other cats and is easygoing. While he may not require the company of other cats to thrive, he does need plenty of affection and outdoor access if living indoors alone. Dr. Dre is one of those cats that doesn't seek constant attention but will win you over once you get to know him. Kastriert und gechipt: ja Farbe/Fell: grau/blau Gesuchte Haltungsform: Freigang und/oder Wohnung mit Katzengesellschaft Als Dr. Dre bei uns ins Katzenhaus einzog, war ihm die ganze Sache erst einmal ziemlich suspekt. Neue Umgebung, fremde Menschen, unbekannte Katzen, da fand der Kater schnell, dass etwas Abstand für alle Beteiligten die beste Lösung wäre. Also wurde erst einmal deutlich gemacht: „Bitte nicht stören.“ Inzwischen hat Dr. Dre festgestellt, dass das Leben im Katzenhaus gar nicht so gefährlich ist. Er ist deutlich entspannter geworden, lässt sich gerne streicheln und genießt die Aufmerksamkeit der Menschen mittlerweile sehr. Dr. Dre gehört eher zu den ruhigen und gelassenen Katern. Er muss nicht ständig im Mittelpunkt stehen und ist keiner, der permanent Action braucht. Stattdessen schätzt er eine entspannte Atmosphäre und Menschen, die seine ruhige Art zu schätzen wissen. Deshalb können wir ihn uns besonders gut bei eher ruhigen Menschen vorstellen. Mit anderen Katzen zeigt sich Dr. Dre verträglich und unkompliziert. Allerdings haben wir nicht den Eindruck, dass er unbedingt Katzengesellschaft zum Glücklichsein braucht. Er könnte sowohl zu einer freundlichen vorhandenen Katze ziehen als auch als Einzelkater glücklich werden, sofern er ausreichend Zuwendung bekommt und dann entsprechend auch Freigang. Dr. Dre ist einer dieser Kater, die sich nicht sofort in den Vordergrund drängen, die man aber umso mehr ins Herz schließt, wenn man sie kennenlernt.
