A female stray/free-roaming cat, born in 2025, is available for adoption. She is spayed (yes) / not spayed (no), and has been at the shelter since May 18, 2026. We test every cat for FIV (cat AIDS) and FeLV (cat leukemia) using a rapid test and provide information on the results. We also inform about the risk of FIP (peritonitis). Dschinni lived in Wohratal-Halsdorf with many other cats, roaming freely around a house where they reproduced unspayed. She was rescued by us and is now looking forward to a new life without constantly having to have kittens. She is a young, very sweet cat that is still a bit cautious around people, but is gaining trust every day, is very curious, and is playful at a suitable age. We are confident that she will make great progress in a nice home with familiar people. Dschinni gets along with other cats, but is a bit cautious. We would imagine her with a gentle, unobtrusive tomcat or a social cat that she can orientate herself around. Dschinni would like to be able to enjoy outdoor time in a traffic-calmed, rural area after sufficient acclimatization. We are happy to help the cute cat find a new home and hope that it will happen soon! (As of August 7, 2026) (Click on the pictures to see them in full size!) weiblich Fundtier/Freigang Geboren 2025 EKH Kastriert ja / [] nein Im Tierheim seit 18.05.2026 ________________________ Wir testen jede Katze per Schnelltest auf FIV („Katzen-Aids“, Infos hier!) und FeLV („Katzen-Leukose“, Infos hier!) und klären über den Status auf. Wir informieren hier über das Risiko einer FIP-Erkrankung („Bauchfellentzündung“). ________________________ Dschinni lebte in Wohratal-Halsdorf mit vielen anderen Katzen streunend an einem Haus, wo sie sich unkastriert vermehrten. Sie konnte durch uns gesichert werden und freut sich jetzt auf ein neues Leben, ohne ständig Nachwuchs bekommen zu müssen. Sie ist eine junge, sehr süße Katze, die noch etwas vorsichtig im Umgang mit Menschen ist, aber von Tag zu Tag mehr Vertrauen fasst, ausgesprochen neugierig durchs Leben geht und altersgemäßg auch recht verspielt ist. Wir sind uns sicher, dass sie in einem schönen Zuhause mit vertrauten Menschen sehr große Fortschritte machen wird. Mit anderen Katzen ist Dschinni verträglich, etwas vorsichtig, aber wir könnten sie uns gut bei einem unaufdringlichen, netten Kater oder einer sozialen Katze vorstellen, an denen sie sich orientieren darf. Dschinni möchte nach ausreichend Eingewöhnung auf jeden Fall wieder Freigang in möglichst verkehrsberuhigter, ländlicher Umgebung nutzen können.
