Duque

Mixed Breed · Male · Kitten · 5 months

Duque is one of Antonela’s five kittens; Antonela is a young cat rescued in the San Pedro area who was able to raise her kittens in a foster home, far from the dangers of the street. Duque has grown up surrounded by his siblings and receiving lots of care. He is a cheerful, affectionate and playful kitten who loves to run, explore and join in his siblings’ games. When it’s time to rest, he enjoys snuggling up alongside them. He is also very sociable with other cats and feels at ease in their company. He has grown up alongside Thor, Nico, Teo and Kira, playing and learning with them. Now Duque needs to find a family where he can continue to grow up happily, playing and receiving all the love he deserves. If he could share his new home with another kitten, especially one of his siblings, that would be wonderful for him. 💛 Duque is ready to start a new chapter and fill a home with play, love and happy moments. 🏡 To ensure his safety, it is essential that windows and balconies have appropriate safety measures in place before adoption. 📩 📸

About Duque

What life with Duque looks like

Duque is a small puppy/kitten mixed breed cat waiting at Triple A Marbella in Marbella.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇪🇸Adopting from Spain

Spanish protectoras generally include sterilization, all vaccinations, microchip ID, and EU pet passport in the adoption fee (typically €250–€400 for a dog, €100–€180 for a cat). Many maintain partnerships with rescue transport providers across the EU.

Frequently asked

Adopting Duque, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Duque?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Triple A Marbella handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Duque on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Duque if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Triple A Marbella will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Duque already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Duque isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Triple A Marbella early rather than rehoming privately; they know Duque and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
