Unfortunately, Dusza’s story isn’t one of the happiest—she’d had a home since she was a puppy, but due to her caregiver’s difficult life situation, she had to give her up and place her in a shelter. And so here we are: Dusza, who spent her entire life by the side of her beloved person on a warm couch, is now trying to find her way in a new reality that’s very challenging for her. All that remains of her previous life is her name—which we’ve decided not to change. Dusza’s first days at Paluch weren’t easy. She was withdrawn and didn’t really want to come out to meet us. She only started to brighten up during walks, away from the shelter kennel. Dusza is a wonderful, gentle, and highly sensitive dog. She’s 4 years old—and since she came to us straight from a home—we know exactly how she behaved there. Apparently, Dusza never caused any trouble; she’d calmly stay alone and never destroyed anything. However, she would bark at movement in the stairwell. She’s uncertain around people and dogs she doesn’t know. Dusza has pancreatic issues and takes special enzymes; she also needs to be fed a special diet and remain under the care of a veterinarian. Historia Duszy niestety nie należy do najszczęśliwszych - sunia od małego miała dom, niestety ze względu na trudną sytuację życiową jej opiekunka musiała oddać ją do schroniska. I tak oto Duszka, która całe życie spędziła u boku ukochanej osoby na ciepłej kanapie próbuje odnaleźć się w nowej, bardzo trudnej dla niej rzeczywistości. Po jej poprzednim życiu zostało jej już tylko imię, którego postanowiliśmy nie zmieniać. Pierwsze dni Duszki na Paluchu nie były proste. Dusia była wycofana, nie za bardzo chciała do nas wychodzić. Odżywała dopiero na spacerach, z dala od schroniskowego boksu. Dusia to cudowna, delikatna i bardzo wrażliwa sunia. Ma 4 lata i - ponieważ trafiła do nas prosto z domu - wiemy, jak się w nim zachowuje. Dusia podobno nie sprawiała problemów, spokojnie zostawała sama, nic nie niszczyła. Reagowała natomiast szczekaniem na ruch na klatce schodowej. Jest niepewna w stosunku do nieznanych sobie osób i psów. Dusza ma problemy z trzustką, przyjmuje specjalne enzymy, musi też dostawać specjalną karmę i pozostawać pod opieką lekarza weterynarii. Nie pozwólmy Dusi zbyt długo czekać na jej nowy dom !
