Jet is a medium-sized, intelligent dog with beautiful, glossy black fur. On walks, he loves to sniff around, explore new places, and discover the world. He walks beautifully on the leash—never pulls—and attentively observes his surroundings, finding joy in every moment spent outside the shelter. Jet’s greatest asset is his bond with humans. It takes him a little time to trust, but once he feels safe, he becomes deeply attached to his caregiver. He likes to stay close, periodically checking to make sure his human is still by his side, and he feels most at ease right by their side. Jet is a dog who builds a deep connection based on trust and mutual respect. Outside the shelter, Jet shows his best side. With each walk, he opens up more and more, willingly cooperates with his human, and learns quickly. He’s an attentive, well-balanced, and curious dog who enjoys discovering new places alongside his handler. When interacting with other dogs, Jet usually behaves impeccably. He walks calmly, happily sniffs together with others, and can clearly—but politely—communicate his boundaries. He’s an excellent teacher of canine communication; through his composure, he shows other four-legged friends what good relationships and peaceful, respectful walks should look like. Jet is a dog who’s truly worth getting to know outside the shelter.
