Black beauty: male dog Eaki is looking for his family! Animal shelter dog Eaki was rescued from the Romanian street and taken into the animal shelter. More information about how the dogs end up at the animal shelter and answers to general questions can be found in our animal protection FAQ. Initially, Eaki was very cautious around people and observed the situation first. However, he learns quickly and now trusts more and more rapidly. He is already making eye contact with our caretakers, approaching them with a wagging tail, and allowing himself to be stroked anywhere. Despite initial skepticism, he also lets the harness be put on him. The same goes for other dogs: Eaki is noticeably more relaxed and shows tremendous potential. He reacts vigilantly to barking or loud noises outside of his kennel. On his first visit to the playground, Eaki appears curious and explores everything carefully. Here too, he reacts attentively to his surroundings. He approaches the caretakers when enticed and seeks out brief cuddles. Eaki is a very eager learner for experienced owners who are ambitious to work intensively with him. He needs a very quiet, ideally rural home. Future owners must be prepared to introduce Eaki slowly and allow him to first build up trust in his environment and people before being exposed to many external stimuli.

Schwarze Schönheit: Rüde Eaki sucht seine Familie! Tierschutzhund Eaki wurde von der rumänischen Straße gerettet und im Tierheim aufgenommen. Anfangs war Eaki Menschen gegenüber sehr vorsichtig und beobachtete die Situation erstmal. Allerdings lernt der hübsche Rüde sehr schnell und fasst mittlerweile immer schneller Vertrauen. Inzwischen sucht er bereits Augenkontakt zu unseren Pfleger:innen, kommt schwanzwedelnd auf sie zu und lässt sich überall streicheln. Er fordert immer wieder Aufmerksamkeit ein und läuft von einer Person zur anderen, um Streicheleinheiten zu bekommen. Das Geschirr lässt er sich, nach anfänglicher Skepsis, auch anziehen. Ebenso ist es bei anderen Hunden: Eaki ist deutlich entspannter und zeigt viel Potential. Auf Bellen oder laute Geräusche außerhalb seines Zwingers reagiert der Rüde wachsam, lässt sich aber nicht aus der Ruhe bringen. Bei seinem ersten Besuch auf dem Spielplatz wirkt Eaki neugierig und erkundet alles genau. Auch hier reagiert er aufmerksam auf seine Umgebung. Zu den Pfleger:innen kommt er, wenn er angelockt wird und holt sich kurze Streicheleinheiten. Eaki ist ein sehr lernbereiter Hund für erfahrene Halter, die ambitioniert sind, intensiv mit ihm zu arbeiten. Er benötigt ein sehr ruhiges, idealerweise ländliches Zuhause. Zukünftige Halter müssen bereit sein, Eaki anfangs langsam einzugewöhnen und ihn zunächst die Wohnung und das Vertrauen zu seinen Menschen aufbauen zu lassen, bevor er intensiv mit Außenreizen konfrontiert wird.
