Ebonit

Male · Kitten · 3 months

Ebonit is a tiny kitten who urgently needs to find a loving home. He’s a very sweet, people-oriented, and brave little cat who loves humans, happily plays, and eagerly observes his surroundings. He’s still a kitten, and his body is extremely delicate and particularly vulnerable to bacteria and viruses. For this reason, he should leave the shelter as soon as possible. We’re looking for caring and responsible guardians for him. Given his very young age, it would be best if he went to a home with another young kitten or to a household that already has an established resident cat. This way, he’ll have the chance to learn feline communication and develop properly. Adopting such little kittens requires dedication and knowledge; therefore, if you lack experience with young cats, we encourage you to familiarize yourself with our post-adoption cat guide, which contains essential information on raising a kitten. Thanks to it, your guardian will be better prepared to welcome this little furball into your home. Guide: We invite you to complete the pre-adoption questionnaire and bring it with you to the shelter already filled out. Please note: When deciding to adopt a cat or considering adoption, be sure to bring a carrier or transport bag for cats to the shelter. Before adopting, make sure your home or apartment is safe and properly prepared to welcome a new family member. Remember to secure windows and balconies.

Pamiętaj, żeby zabezpieczyć okna i balkon.

About Ebonit

What life with Ebonit looks like

Ebonit is a small puppy/kitten cat waiting at Schronisko Na Paluchu in Warsaw.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇵🇱Adopting from Poland

Polish shelters maintain established transport routes to Germany, Netherlands, Austria, and Sweden. Animals leave sterilized and chipped. Adoption fees are typically lower than in Western Europe (often €50–€150) but adopters cover transport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Ebonit, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Ebonit?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Schronisko Na Paluchu handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Ebonit on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Ebonit if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Schronisko Na Paluchu will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Ebonit already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Ebonit isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Schronisko Na Paluchu early rather than rehoming privately; they know Ebonit and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
