Edamame Sometimes, amongst the many cats that arrive at Triple A, there is one of those special companions who wins everyone over from the very first moment. This is the case with Edamame, a beautiful one-year-old cat rescued in the Los Molineros area. The clip on his ear indicates that he was neutered as part of a cat colony management programme. However, you only need to spend a few minutes with him to realise that Edamame is not a cat who wants to keep his distance. Quite the opposite: he is a cat who is deeply affectionate towards people. Affectionate, sweet and trusting, he enjoys every stroke and every moment of attention. He lets himself be picked up, seeks human contact and has that wonderful ability to make anyone who approaches him feel special. He is one of those cats who greets you with his gaze, who comes over to say hello and who seems to appreciate every gesture of affection. What’s more, Edamame gets on perfectly well with other cats. In a world where many animals wait for months for the chance to find a home, Edamame reminds us of something very simple: that love, sometimes, has four legs, beautiful eyes and a soft purr.
