Eine wundervolle Seele namens Tina

Mixed Breed · Female · Senior · 10 years

Update: Tina’s behavior has changed since the loss of her owner. She now meets visitors with skepticism and mistrust, hardly allows any contact with strangers anymore, and quickly shuts down... According to her breed characteristics (KSH mix), she now fiercely protects her human companion—whom she has become deeply attached to—and is forced to take matters into her own hands. Tina can only be entrusted to people who are familiar with and able to handle her breed-specific traits, providing her with the necessary guidance and setting clear boundaries. ************************************************************************************************************************************** Tina lived happily and securely with her owner and another dog. Both were his greatest pride and joy. Unfortunately, a few days ago, her owner succumbed to a very serious, incurable illness. Tina, born on June 13, 2016, originally comes from Romania. She is a cozy, calm lady who doesn’t like long or frequent walks. Tina gets along well with other dogs and also with cats. She walks calmly and peacefully on a leash and remains unfazed by anything. She loves to lie in her basket at home or in the garden, soaking up the sun. Tina is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. -5 .gallery-item { border: 2px solid ; -5 .gallery-caption { /* see gallery_shortcode() in wp-includes/media.php */ Tina can be met by appointment. We’d love to introduce her during a joint walk.

About Eine wundervolle Seele namens Tina

What life with Eine wundervolle Seele namens Tina looks like

Eine wundervolle Seele namens Tina is a medium-sized senior mixed breed dog waiting at Tierhilfe Rhein-Hunsrück e.V. in Germany.

Senior dogs settle in faster than younger ones. They want a soft bed, predictable meals, and short, sniff-heavy walks rather than runs. Many senior rescues bond deeply within weeks because they understand exactly how good a stable home is. Expect occasional vet visits for joint or dental care.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Dogs and cats typically leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with an EU pet passport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Eine wundervolle Seele namens Tina, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Eine wundervolle Seele namens Tina?: Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierhilfe Rhein-Hunsrück e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Eine wundervolle Seele namens Tina on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Eine wundervolle Seele namens Tina if I live in another country?: Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierhilfe Rhein-Hunsrück e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Eine wundervolle Seele namens Tina already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?: Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Eine wundervolle Seele namens Tina isn't the right fit?: Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierhilfe Rhein-Hunsrück e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Eine wundervolle Seele namens Tina and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?: TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
