My name is Herbert. I am male, neutered, and born around 2020. I have been waiting since August 2021 for a new home. My caretakers say about me: Herbert came from a population that has occupied our minds for a long time, and during his stay, it has become clear that he wants to give humans a chance. He was previously cared for by an older lady and then by the neighbors until he came to us for castration. Since his arrival, he has shown interest in regular meals and even allows being petted, leading to the decision to find him an appropriate home. He should live in safety from now on, preferably with patient and experienced cat owners. There is also the possibility of a later release if he becomes accustomed and finds trust. Other cats are no problem for Herbert. Children, if present, should demonstrate the appropriate age and necessary behavioral rules towards the new resident to help Herbert settle in quickly. Mein Name ist Herbert. Ich bin männlich, kastriert und circa 2020 geboren. Ich warte seit August 2021 auf ein neues Zuhause. Das sagen meine Betreuer über mich: Herbert kam aus einer Population, die uns schon lange Zeit beschäftigt und bei seinem Aufenthalt hat sich gezeigt, das er dem Menschen eine Chance geben möchte. Er wurde bisher von einer älteren Dame und dann von den Nachbarn versorgt, bis er zur Kastration zu uns kam. Da er auch hier nach Eingewöhnung zeigt, das er Interesse an regelmäßigen Mahlzeiten hat und dabei auch mal Anfassen erlaubt, wurde beschlossen, ihm ein geeignetes Zuhause zu suchen. Er soll ab sofort in Sicherheit leben, bevorzugt bei geduldigen und erfahrenen Katzenkennern. Gern mit der Möglichkeit zum späteren Freigang, wenn er sich eingewöhnt und Vertrauen gefunden hat. Auch weitere Katzen sind kein Problem für Herbert.Kinder sollten wenn vorhanden , das entsprechende Alter und die nötigen Verhaltensregeln gegenüber dem neuen Bewohner an den Tag legen, damit Herbert sich schnell einleben kann. Wer möchte sich der Aufgabe stellen und Herbert eine Chance geben, in der Anfangszeit vorerst ein kleiner Hausgeist sein zu dürfen?
