When they tried to bring her to safety, Eleni kept backing away and showed great fear. Finally, they managed to catch her and bring her to safety. Eleni is a kind, rather reserved cat who cautiously approaches new situations. She is somewhat shy and needs time to build trust - no wonder, because she has only known her familiar environment with the other cats for a long time. Changes unsettle her, so she will probably be shy at first in a new home. Eleni gets along well with other cats and feels safe in their company. Once she has built up trust, she shows herself attentive and interested. Eleni wishes nothing more than a family of her own. She has been overlooked for so long, no one has given her a real chance. Als sie versuchten, sie in Sicherheit zu bringen, wich Eleni immer wieder zurück und zeigte große Angst. Schließlich gelang es dennoch, sie einzufangen und in Sicherheit zu bringen. Eleni ist eine liebe, eher zurückhaltende Katze, die neuen Situationen zunächst vorsichtig begegnet. Sie ist etwas ängstlich und braucht Zeit, um Vertrauen zu fassen – kein Wunder, denn sie kennt seit langer Zeit nur ihr gewohntes Umfeld mit den anderen Katzen. Veränderungen verunsichern sie, weshalb sie sich in einem neuen Zuhause anfangs vermutlich schüchtern zeigen wird. Mit anderen Katzen kommt Eleni gut zurecht und fühlt sich in ihrer Gesellschaft sicher. Hat sie Vertrauen gefasst, zeigt sie sich aufmerksam und interessiert. Eleni wünscht sich nichts sehnlicher als eine eigene Familie. So lange wurde sie übersehen, so lange hat niemand ihr eine echte Chance gegeben. Dabei braucht sie nur eines: Menschen, die Geduld haben, ihr Zeit schenken und sie in ihrem eigenen Tempo ankommen lassen. Und natürlich einen oder mehrere Freunde auf Samtpfoten.
