When they tried to bring her to safety, Eleni kept backing away and showed great fear. Finally, they managed to catch her and bring her to safety. Eleni is a kind, rather reserved cat who cautiously approaches new situations. She is somewhat shy and needs time to build trust - no wonder, because she has only known her familiar environment with the other cats for a long time. Changes unsettle her, so she will probably be shy at first in a new home. Eleni gets along well with other cats and feels safe in their company. Once she has built up trust, she shows herself attentive and interested. Eleni wishes nothing more than a family of her own. She has been overlooked for so long, no one has given her a real chance. All she needs is people who have patience, give her time, and let her come at her own pace. And of course one or more friends on soft paws. This animal can be anxious in unfamiliar situations.
