I am female, neutered, and born in 2017. I have been waiting since October 2021 for a new home. My caretakers say about me: Elfie came to us as a found animal. Unfortunately, during the care for the neutering, it became clear that Elfie will need a lot of time to get accustomed to people, and so we are looking for a place in a protected environment where she can have a job as a mouser, live freely, and be medically cared for when needed. A home where she has the space and time to build trust. At our shelter, Elfie is now much more approachable and calmer. When we are nearby, she remains calm and closely observes us. During feeding, she comes closer than she did at the beginning, which is always a good sign for us. We hope that a place can be found where Elfie can be happy again and not have to rely on the soft paw. Maybe the situation will change over time and she will begin to no longer view people as a threat; we have already seen the most amazing things... Elfie was rehomed together with Gero in October 2023. Elfie thanks Patin Sally from Grimma for the financial support starting in January 2023!

Ich bin weiblich, kastriert und 2017 geboren. Ich warte seit Oktober 2021 auf ein neues Zuhause. Das sagen meine Betreuer über mich: Elfie kam als Fundtier zu uns.. Leider zeigte sich während der Betreuung über die Kastration, das eine Gewöhnung an den Menschen für Elfie viel Zeit brauchen wird und so suchen wir für sie einen Platz im geschütztem Umfeld, wo sie als Mäusefängerin einen Job hat, in Freiheit leben darf und bei Bedarf auch mal medizinisch versorgt wird. Ein Zuhause wo sie gegebenenfalls Freiraum hat und Zeit, Vertrauen zu fassen. Bei uns ist Elfie inzwischen wesentlich zugänglicher und ruhiger.wenn wir uns in Ihrer Nähe aufhalten, bleibt sie gelassen und beobachtet uns ganz genau. Beim Füttern kommt sie schon näher als zu Beginn. für uns immer ein gutes Zeichen. Wir hoffen, es findet sich ein Plätzchen, wo Elfie wieder glücklich sein darf und keiner zu große Erwartungen an die Samtpfote hat.Vielleicht wendet sich das Blatt mit der Zeit und sie beginnt dann doch, den Menschen nicht mehr als Gefahr zu betrachten, wir haben schon die dollsten Dinger erlebt…. Elfie konnte gemeinsam mit Gero im Oktober 2023 vermittelt werden. Elfie bedankt sich bei Patin Sally aus Grimma für die finanzielle Unterstützung ab Januar 2023!
