Eli Carmen is a timid cat, she is very social with other cats but remains somewhat fearful of people. Her foster family is working with her but they also have many cats in foster care and they notice that Eli Carmen prefers to be with her own kind rather than seeking out people. You can pet her but that's about it. Eli Carmen will only be placed in a home where there are already other, social cats because without another cat, Eli Carmen cannot cope at all.

Eli Carmen is een banger katje, ze is heel sociaal met andere katten maar blijft wat bang van mensen. Haar opvanggezin werkt met haar maar hebben ook veel katten in opvang en ze merken op dat Eli Carmen liever bij haar soortgenoten is dan dat ze mensen gaat opzoeken. Je kan haar aaien maar daar blijft het dan ook bij. Eli Carmen plaatsen we dan ook enkel maar in een thuis waar al andere, sociale katjes aanwezig zijn want zonder een ander katje kan Eli Carmen totaal niet.
