Eliot – a majestic Malinois on the lookout for his human Eliot was simply tied to the shelter’s gate and left behind. Since then, he has been patiently waiting there for over two years for the chance to finally find a proper home. Malinois dogs are popular in Spain – but many people underestimate how demanding and intelligent these dogs are. As a result, they often end up in the animal shelter because their owners are overwhelmed and the animals are not sufficiently challenged. Eliot is a beautiful, affectionate male dog who greatly enjoys the company of humans. He does not get along so well with fellow animals, but he blossoms even more in the company of humans. For Eliot, we are therefore searching for a home with people who enjoy not only physically but also mentally challenging and nurturing him. He loves to play, chase balls, and spend time with his humans. Of course, like every Malinois, he brings a lot of energy with him. But what makes him truly special is his great love, which he is happy to share. Eliot is no “ordinary” dog, but he is very special. Eliot tested positive for leishmaniasis, but this does not prevent him from leading a happy life if a few things are taken into account. His fosterer is happy to advise you on this. Who will give him the chance to finally arrive? A foster home would also greatly help Eliot to prepare for his own home.

Eliot – ein stattlicher Malinois auf der Suche nach seinem Menschen Eliot wurde einfach am Tor des Tierheims angebunden und zurückgelassen. Seitdem wartet er dort seit über zwei Jahren geduldig auf die Chance, endlich ein richtiges Zuhause zu finden. Der Malinois gehört in Spanien zu den beliebten Hunderassen – doch leider unterschätzen viele Menschen, wie anspruchsvoll und klug diese Hunde sind. So landen sie oft im Tierheim, weil ihre Halter überfordert sind und die Tiere nicht ausgelastet werden. Eliot ist ein wunderschöner, anhänglicher Rüde, der die Nähe zu Menschen sehr genießt. Mit Artgenossen kommt er nicht so gut zurecht, umso mehr blüht er jedoch im Kontakt mit Menschen auf. Für Eliot suchen wir daher ein Zuhause bei Menschen, die Freude daran haben, ihn nicht nur körperlich, sondern auch geistig zu fordern und zu fördern. Er liebt es, zu spielen, Bälle zu jagen und Zeit mit seinen Menschen zu verbringen. Natürlich bringt er – wie jeder Malinois – viel Energie mit. Aber was ihn ganz besonders macht, ist seine große Liebe, die er gerne verschenken möchte. Eliot ist kein „einfacher“ Hund, aber er ist ein ganz besonderer. Eliot wurde positiv auf Leishmaniose getestet, dies hindert ihn aber nicht daran, ein glückliches Leben zu führen, wenn man ein paar Dinge beachtet. Gerne berät Sie seine Vermittlerin hierzu.
