Elmo is an energetic and small dog who is taller than he is wide. The dog trusts his guardian, quickly forms strong bonds, and happily shows it. During walks, he loves digging holes and playing tug-of-war; he prefers quiet places with minimal noise. He’ll appreciate outings to the forest—places where the sounds of urban hustle and bustle don’t reach him. This little dog is somewhat timid. You’ll need to introduce him to the world in the gentlest way possible, as many things frighten him and trigger strong emotions. When that happens, he starts nibbling because he doesn’t know how to release what he’s feeling. Of course, everything can be worked on and taught—but it will take a lot of time and dedication. For Elmo, we’re looking for a home: – one that’s ready to work on calming him down and helping him gain control over his emotions, as well as training him to become less sensitive to external stimuli; – located far from urban noise, in a quiet neighborhood; – without children or other pets.

Elmo to energiczny i nieduży pies, który jest raczej wyższy niż szerszy. Psiak ufa swojemu opiekunowi, potrafi szybko się przywiązać i chętnie to okazuje. Podczas spacerów uwielbia kopać dziury i bawić się szarpakiem, raczej preferuje miejsca spokojne bez większego hałasu. Doceni wypady do lasu, do miejsc gdzie nie dociera dźwięk miejskiego zgiełku. Ten niewielki psiak to mały lękus. Trzeba mu pokazać świat w możliwie jak najdelikatniejszy sposób gdyż wiele rzeczy go przeraża i wywołuje w nim duże emocje. Zaczyna wtedy podgryzać gdyż nie wie jak dać ujście temu co czuje. Wszystko idzie oczywiście wypracować, nauczyć, ale trzeba poświecić temu dużo czasu. Dla Elmo szukamy domu: – gotowego pracować nad wyciszeniem i kontrolą nad emocjami oraz nad treningiem na odwrażliwianie na bodźce zewnętrzne – daleko od miejskiego zgiełku, w cichej okolicy – bez dzieci i innych zwierząt
