Origin Country: Hungary We have a DNA breed determination pending. The handsome Elon arrived as a found dog at animal shelter on June 11, 2025. He was alone in the community of Albertirsa. Whether he was abandoned or ran away from home, we unfortunately do not know. During the chip check, no one was found, and no one reported this wonderful dog as missing. As always, it’s unclear to us, but so Elon gets a chance at a life with people who will love, value, respect, and show him how beautiful life can be. Elon is a friendly, loving, active, and contact-seeking fellow, who, fortunately, adapted well to his new situation, even though life behind bars surely isn’t pleasant. He’s happy when given some time and attention, and he’s overjoyed by every pat and affection, as he has a lot of catch-up to do. Elon is at the perfect age and wants to be mentally and physically challenged and nurtured. However, at first, it’s also about learning and solidifying the basic obedience, which walking on a leash already works well, of course, but still has room for improvement. Elon is a clever fellow, he wants to please and do everything right, yet he needs a clear framework within which he can flourish. Working and training with him will surely be a lot of fun. Elon would certainly be a wonderful companion for jogging, cycling, hiking, or other sporting activities, as long as both human and dog have fun and a good time together. He gets along well with his fellow animals but is currently still housed alone in a kennel. (As of August 12, 2025) For our wonderful Elon, we are searching for an adventure-loving and dog-experienced home with people who love to be outdoors, who value the company of a four-legged friend, who will dog-appropriately tire Elon, give him a clear but loving guidance, spoil him with lots of cuddles, love, security, and care, and offer him a 100% family connection. During this, he gathered many new impressions and exciting scents. With much love in his little heart, Elon is waiting for his new permanent and caring owner. An active family is sought. Elon wants to go for a walk with his owner every day and would also like to take excursions and hikes. At the same time, he longs for love, patience, and plenty of mental stimulation and care." Ursprungsland: Ungarn Uns liegt eine DNA-Rassebestimmung vor. Der hübsche Elon kam am 11.6.2025 als Fundhund ins Tierheim. Er war in der Gemeinde Albertirsa alleine unterwegs. Ob er ausgesetzt wurde oder von zu Hause weggelaufen ist, wissen wir leider nicht. Bei der Chipkontrolle wurde man nicht fündig, und niemand hat diesen tollen Hund als vermisst gemeldet. Wie immer unverständlich für uns, aber so bekommt Elon, diesen Namen hat er im Menhely erhalten, eine Chance auf ein Leben bei Menschen, die ihn lieben, schätzen, achten und ihm zeigen, wie schön das Leben sein kann. Elon ist ein freundlicher, lieber, aktiver und kontaktfreudiger Kerl, der sich zum Glück recht gut in seine neue Lebenssituation eingefügt hat, auch wenn ein Leben hinter Gittern sicher nicht schön ist. Er ist glücklich, wenn man ihm etwas Zeit und Aufmerksamkeit schenkt, und freut sich über jede Streicheleinheit und Zuneigung, denn er hat viel Nachholbedarf. Elon ist im besten Alter und möchte geistig wie körperlich gefordert und gefördert werden. Zu Beginn gilt aber auch bei ihm: das Hundeeinmaleins lernen und festigen, das Laufen an der Leine klappt schon ganz gut, ist natürlich noch weiter ausbaubar. Elon ist ein schlauer Bursche, er will gefallen und alles richtig machen, dennoch braucht er einen klar gesteckten Rahmen, in dem er sich entfalten kann. Es wird bestimmt viel Spass machen, mit ihm zu arbeiten und zu trainieren. Elon wäre sicherlich auch ein wunderbarer Begleiter beim Joggen, Fahrradfahren, Wandern oder anderen sportlichen Aktivitäten, Hauptsache, Mensch und Hund haben Spass und eine gute Zeit zusammen. Mit seinen Artgenossen versteht sich Elon, ist aber aktuell noch alleine in einem Kennel untergebracht. Für unseren tollen Elon suchen wir ein unternehmungslustiges und hundeerfahrenes Zuhause bei Menschen, die gerne und viel in der Natur unterwegs sind, die die Gesellschaft eines Vierbeiners schätzen, Elon hundegerecht auslasten, ihm eine klare, aber liebevolle Führung geben, ihn mit vielen Streicheleinheiten, Liebe, Geborgenheit und Fürsorge verwöhnen und ihm 100 % Familienanschluss bieten. Update vom 22.07.2026: Obwohl Elon eher zierlich wirkt, steckt in ihm enorm viel Kraft und Energie. Mit dem Leben im Tierheim kommt er überhaupt nicht zurecht: Sieht er Menschen in seiner Nähe, beginnt er herzerwärmend zu jammern, kein lautes Bellen, eher ein leises Winseln. Elon braucht die Nähe des Menschen, und das Tierheim ist absolut nichts für ihn. An den Mentortagen zeigt sich, wie viel in ihm steckt: Aktiv, begeistert und aufmerksam startet er in den Spaziergang, lässt sich an der Leine führen und geniesst jede Minute draussen, endlich laufen, schnuppern und all die neuen Eindrücke aufnehmen. Er ist sehr menschenbezogen und fordert unterwegs immer wieder Zuwendung ein. Für Elon wünschen wir uns eine aktive Familie, die täglich mit ihm unterwegs ist, ihn auf Ausflüge und Wanderungen mitnimmt und ihm gleichzeitig Liebe, Geduld und viel Beschäftigung schenkt. Elon ist reisefertig. Da Elon ein Staff-Mix ist, müssen Sie sich bei Interesse zuerst bei Ihrer Wohngemeinde über deren Halterbewilligungen erkundigen.
