A puppy, less than 3 months old, lies more dead than alive on the exhibition grounds of the industrial city. We don't want to imagine how many people walked past the little Elsa until finally her rescuers came. The dogs of a family found the bundle of misery, which was dehydrated and nearly unconscious on the hot asphalt - and from here begins a new chapter in Elsa's story. The tiny Jack Russell mix girl was quickly taken to the animal clinic, where they started with emergency care and discovered that Elsa, probably due to an accident or even a targeted blow, is blind in one eye. For two days, they fought for the life of the puppy. Elsa did not want to eat, but drank huge amounts and slept almost continuously - but then came the turning point. On the third day, all the staff at the animal clinic had tears of joy in their eyes, because Elsa not only accepted the offered food, but also began to play and cuddle. It was time for the move to the foster family. Now Elsa lives with experienced animal lovers, until the final destination for her big journey to happiness is found. Our little princess quickly understood how life in a family works. She gets along very well with the cats living in the house, has made friends with the neighborhood dogs by pawing around, and is just discovering her great love for all kinds of toys. Typical of a terrier, Elsa learns quickly and with much joy, she will surely become a great solo performer someday. Like many Jack Russells, Elsa initially appears reserved when meeting strangers. But if you give the cute heartbreaker time to make contact at her own pace, the shy little flower soon becomes a real playmobile. Elsa is looking for active and humorous people who can explain the big world to her with patience and much understanding. Ein Welpe, nicht einmal 3 Monate alt, liegt mehr tot als lebendig auf dem Messegelände der Industriestadt. Wir möchten uns nicht vorstellen, wie viele Menschen an der kleinen Elsa vorbeigegangen sind, bis endlich ihre Retter kamen. Die Hunde einer Familie fanden das Bündel Elend, das dehydriert und nahe der Bewusstlosigkeit auf dem heißen Asphalt lag – und ab hier beginnt dann ein neuer Abschnitt in Elsas Geschichte. Das winzige Jack-Russell-Mix-Mädchen wurde schnell in die Tierklinik gebracht, wo man mit der Notversorgung begann und feststellen musste, dass Elsa, vermutlich durch einen Unfall oder auch einen gezielten Schlag, auf einem Auge erblindet ist. Zwei Tage kämpfte man um das Leben des Hundebabys. Elsa wollte nicht fressen, trank dafür Unmengen und schlief eigentlich ununterbrochen – doch dann kam die Wende. Am dritten Tag hatten alle Mitarbeiter der Tierklinik Freudentränen in den Augen, denn Elsa nahm nicht nur das angebotene Futter an, sondern fing auch an zu spielen und zu kuscheln. Die Zeit für den Umzug in die Pflegefamilie war gekommen. Jetzt lebt Elsa bei erfahrenen Tierschützern, bis sich das endgültige Ziel für ihre große Reise ins Glück gefunden hat. Unsere kleine Prinzessin hat schnell verstanden, wie das Leben in einer Familie funktioniert. Sie versteht sich blendend mit den im Haus wohnenden Katzen, hat im Pfotenumdrehen Freundschaft mit den Hunden der Nachbarschaft geschlossen und entdeckt gerade ihre große Liebe für Spielzeuge aller Art. Terriertypisch lernt Elsa schnell und mit viel Freude, sie wird sicher irgendwann eine tolle Alleinunterhalterin werden. Wie viele Jack Russells zeigt sich Elsa anfänglich zurückhaltend, wenn sie ihr fremden Menschen begegnet. Aber wenn man der niedlichen Herzensbrecherin Zeit lässt, in ihrem eigenen Tempo Kontakt aufzunehmen, wird aus der schüchternen Mimose bald ein richtiges Spielmobil. Elsa sucht aktive und humorvolle Leute, die ihr mit Geduld und viel Verständnis die große Welt erklären. Ein Plätzchen, an dem sie vergessen kann, wie holprig ihr Start ins Leben war, mit der Aussicht auf viele lustige und schöne Jahre an der Seite ihrer allerbesten Freunde – davon träumt in der ArcoNatura nicht nur Elsa …
