My name is Elvira. I am female, neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and born around 2013. I have been waiting since July 2025 for a new home. My caretakers say about me: Elvira is a found kitten in the region that has not been missed. Upon arrival, she appeared very underweight, likely having had to fend for herself for a long time. With blood tests showing no particular findings, spaying, and dental work, the first steps toward a beautiful old age were taken. The only issue was the vaccination, which caused her such distress that we were afraid we might lose this battle during a single weekend with epileptic seizures. No, with intensive home care, Elvira has recovered and received an exemption from vaccination for medical reasons. She gets a supplement for nerve strength and is otherwise grain-free. Further symptoms or seizures have not reappeared, and we always keep a emergency kit prepared for Elvira. The grandma would be happy about a paten, then we could maybe also finance a foster home…. Apart from the rare diva moments, she is a cuddly grandma cat who just wants to have it good again. Ideally in a quiet apartment and without much fuss. Only cozy snuggle sessions and plenty of comfortable lying spots should not be lacking for Elvira. Who would like to give the pretty Elvira a beautiful old age after she has fought so hard against her fate?. This cat is to be kept indoors only.

Mein Name ist Elvira. Ich bin weiblich, kastriert, gechipt, geimpft und circa 2013 geboren. Ich warte seit Juli 2025 auf ein neues Zuhause. Das sagen meine Betreuer über mich: Elvira ist eine Fundmiez der Region, die nicht vermisst wurde. Bei Ankunft erschien sie sehr runtergewirtschaftet, vermutlich musste sie schon lange allein zurecht kommen. Mit Blutuntersuchung ohne besonderen Befund, Kastration und Zahnsanierung waren die ersten Schritte Richtung schöner Lebensabend getan. Einzig die Impfung machte ihr derart zu schaffen, dass wir bei einem einzigen Wochenende mit epileptischen Anfall richtig Angst bekamen, diesen Kampf zu verlieren. Nix da, mit intensiver häuslicher Betreuung hat sich Elvira berappelt und eine Impfbefreiung aus medizinischen Gründen erhalten. Sie bekommt einen Futterzusatz zur Stärkung der Nerven und wird ansonsten getreidefrei ernährt. Weitere Auffälligkeiten oder Anfälle sind nicht mehr aufgetreten, ein Notfallpräperat halten wir für Elvira immer vor. Über Paten würde sich die Omi freuen, dann könnten wir vielleicht auch eine Pflegestelle finanzieren…. Bis auf seltene Anwandlungen, in der sie die Diva rauskehrt ist sie eine anschmiegsame Katzenomi, die es einfach nochmal gut haben möchte. Bestenfalls in reiner Wohnungshaltung und ohne viel Trubel. Nur an Kuscheleinheiten und vielen gemütlichen Liegeplätze soll es für Elvira nicht mangeln. Wer möchte der hübschen Elvira einen schönen Lebensabend bereiten, nachdem sie sich so hartnäckig durch ihr Schicksal gekämpft hat?
