Elvira, born approximately July 2022, spayed, approximately 55cm shoulder height, in the shelter since 2023. Elvira was rescued as a young dog from one of the public animal shelters and has been in the shelter ever since. While she is very tolerant and uncomplicated with other dogs, she has unfortunately developed into a timid dog around people. Since there is rarely time for individual dogs in the shelter, she has not been able to accumulate many positive experiences, which is now becoming increasingly apparent. We wish for her a home with empathetic and experienced people who can show her what a good dog life is like in peace and without time pressure or expectations. It should be okay in her new home if she never wants to go for a walk or cuddle like a normal dog. Maybe she will be good for one or more positive surprises. At least a confident first dog, as well as a securely fenced garden with direct access to the house are basic requirements. Since Elvira has only poor placement chances, we would be very happy if someone would take a sponsorship for her. Currently located in Romania and allowed to travel out if a home is found. Travels chipped and vaccinated (EU vaccination passport; vaccinations: rabies and basic immunization). All dogs are treated against intestinal parasites and ectoparasites at their arrival in the shelter and at least once a year thereafter. The described behavioral observations are based on everyday life in the shelter and may be different in a domestic environment under changed living conditions. 12/2023 Futterpatenschaft: - Tierarztpatenschaft: - Elvira, geboren ca. 07/2022, kastriert, ca. 55cm Schulterhöhe, im Shelter seit 2023 Elvira wurde als junge Hündin aus einem der öffentlichen Tierheime gerettet und befindet sich seitdem im Shelter. Während sie unter Artgenossen sehr verträglich und unkompliziert ist, hat sie sich leider Menschen gegenüber zum Angsthäschen entwickelt. Da im Shelter nur selten Zeit für einzelne Hunde ist, hat sie wenig positive Erfahrungen sammeln dürfen, dies zeigt sich mittlerweile immer stärker. Wir wünschen uns für sie ein Zuhause bei einfühlsamen und erfahrenen Menschen, die ihr in Ruhe und ohne Zeitdruck oder Erwartungshaltung zeigen, was ein gutes Hundeleben ist. Es sollte in ihrem neuen Zuhause okay sein, wenn sie nie wie ein normaler Hund Gassi gehen oder kuscheln will. Vielleicht ist sie dann für die eine oder andere positive Überraschung gut. Mindestens ein souveräner Ersthund, sowie ein sicher eingezäunter Garten mit direktem Zugang zum Haus sind Grundvoraussetzungen. Da Elvira nur schlechte Vermittlungschancen hat, würden wir uns sehr freuen, wenn jemand eine Patenschaft für sie übernimmt. Befindet sich aktuell in Rumänien und darf ausreisen, wenn sie ein Zuhause gefunden hat. Reist gechipt und geimpft (EU Impfpass; Impfungen: Tollwut und Grundimmunisierung). Alle Hunde werden bei ihrer Ankunft im Shelter sowie anschließend mindestens einmal jährlich gegen Darmparasiten und Ektoparasiten behandelt. Die geschilderten Verhaltensbeobachtungen basieren auf dem Alltag im Shelter und können sich in einem häuslichen Umfeld unter veränderten Lebensbedingungen entsprechend anders darstellen.
