Elvis is a charming little male dog that we took over from our Romanian partner animal shelter in Brasov. He was simply abandoned at the shelter by his irresponsible owners, a fate that could have befallen him anywhere in the world, as unwanted pets are disposed of in this questionable manner even here. In 2024, construction began on the new Victory Shelter on our own grounds just outside Brasov. The animal shelter was completed in summer 2025 and the big move took place with over 500 animals to the new shelter in August. The shelter is a showpiece project - not only in Romania. In October 2025, the official opening took place with employees, friends, partners, and sponsors, because our animal protection colleagues could never have carried out this project alone. But when everyone shares the same goal and works together, you can achieve a lot! Elvis currently has problems with his musculoskeletal system; in addition to the regular veterinary check-in, some more detailed examinations are still pending. Otherwise, he is really a nice guy, and we are sure that he will not have to wait too long for his humans. Elvis moved into our shelter together with his girlfriend Elsa, who he really likes very much. However, he shows himself somewhat jealous of his new roommate Joker, so we think he would feel most comfortable as the single prince in a new home. Name: Elvis Rasse: Mischling Geschlecht: männlich kastriert Größe: 25 Gewicht: 5 Alter: 02-2020 Im Tierheim seit: 26.06.2026 Elvis ist ein bezaubernder kleiner Rüde, den wir aus unserem rumänischen Partnertierheim in Brasov übernommen haben. Dort wurde er von seinen verantwortungslosen Menschen einfach am Tierheim ausgesetzt, ein Schicksal, das ihm hätte weltweit blühen können, denn auch bei uns werden unerwünschte Mitbewohner auf diese fragwürdige Art und Weise entsorgt. 2024 begann der Bau des neuen Victory Shelters auf eigenem Grund und Boden vor den Toren Brasovs. Im Sommer 2025 wurde der Tierheim-Neubau fertiggestellt und im August fand der große Umzug mit über 500 Tieren in das neue Tierheim statt. Das Tierheim ist ein Vorzeigeprojekt - nicht nur in Rumänien. Im Oktober 2025 fand die offizielle Eröffnung mit Mitarbeitern, Freunden, Partnern und Sponsoren statt, denn alleine hätten unsere Tierschutzkollegen das Projekt niemals stemmen können,. Aber wenn alle zusammen das gleiche Ziel haben und zusammenarbeiten, dann lässt sich einiges bewirken!Elvis hat aktuell Probleme mit dem Bewegungsapparat, hier stehen neben dem regulären Tierarzt-Eingangscheck noch ein paar genauere Untersuchungen aus. Ansonsten ist er wirklich ein netter Kerl, bei dem wir uns sicher sind, dass er nicht allzu lange auf seine Menschen warten muss. Elvis ist zusammen mit seiner Freundin Elsa bei uns eingezogen, die er wirklich sehr gerne mag. Bei seinem neuen Mitbewohner Joker zeigt er sich allerdings ein wenig eifersüchtig, so dass wir denken, dass er sich im neuen Zuhause als Einzelprinz am wohlsten fühlen würde. Alle Neuzugänge müssen, bevor sie in ein neues Zuhause umziehen dürfen, einen Tierarzt-Eingangscheck absolvieren und es wird ein länderspezifisches Reisekrankheitenprofil angefertigt.
