Mixed Breed · Female · Puppy · 4 months

Size: small Final size travel arrangements starting in September Location: Romania 🐶 Emely – delicate heart searching for security 💕 Emely has already experienced a lot. Together with her four siblings, she was left completely helpless and abandoned on an abandoned property 😔💔 Fortunately, she was brought to safety in time by our animal rescuer 🙏🏡 Emely is a rather reserved puppy 🐾 New people and situations make her a little afraid at first 😶‍🌫️ But with patience, calmness, and lots of love, she gradually shows her gentle and curious nature 🌸✨ She loves small discoveries in a safe environment 🌿🐕 Gentle play is just as much a part of it as delicate cuddles – especially when she realizes she feels safe 🥰🤍 We are looking for a quiet and loving home for Emely 🏡💞 People with a heart and understanding who will give her the time to build trust and adjust at her own pace ⏳💗 With much affection and gentle guidance, the shy little puppy will become a faithful, lively companion who discovers the world a little more each day 🌍🐾❤️ Who will give Emely the security she so desperately craves? 💖🐶 Emely is vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, neutered, and has a veterinary check-up. She also has an EU pet passport. All our dogs travel with official trace papers and Paragraph 11 approval to Germany. Our dogs are additionally tested for Mediterranean diseases via a rapid test. The adoption fee is 500€ plus 30€ for the purchase of the safety harness. Note: When we assign our dogs to certain breeds, we base our decision solely on their outward appearance and observable behavior (phenotype). This assignment is made with the best of intentions and knowledge of the club and the involved veterinarians. However, these descriptions do not necessarily correspond to the actual genetic makeup (genotype), as their reliable determination would only be possible through DNA analysis. Furthermore, the behavioral and character description of each animal is based on careful observations by the animal welfare workers on site or by the respective foster homes. It should be noted that these assessments are based solely on the current local conditions in the intake or foster homes.

About Emely

What life with Emely looks like

Emely is a small puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Rescued Souls e.V. in Pfinztal.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Emely, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Emely?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Rescued Souls e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Emely on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Emely if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Rescued Souls e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Emely already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Emely isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Rescued Souls e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Emely and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
