Emil spent roughly a year wandering around a residential area. He tried to get someone's attention and find help, but no one let him in or knew where he came from. He looked very neglected, and a kind soul posted on Facebook asking for his owner to come forward, but no one did, so Emil's story remains unknown to us. We saw the posts and understood he needed help, so one of our volunteers went there and spoke with the residents of the area to locate him and set out a feeding station so that he could be caught. He wasn't easy, but in the end he let himself be caught, and turned out to be a completely tame and very affectionate little cat who can't get enough of cuddles now! Emil was both unneutered and unmarked, extremely dirty, matted, and thin. At first we thought he was a younger cat since he is so small in stature, but Emil is probably a middle-aged gentleman. Emil has now been neutered and given a veterinary check-up. He has an old injury on one paw, one toe is missing and has most likely healed on its own. Otherwise, he needed to eat and recover his strength and receive loving care, and he is getting that with us. Welcome, Emil! ❤️ Emil is ready for his own home as the only cat with someone who is home during the day. Emil is playful and very gentle. He would like to go outside eventually in a safe environment once he has settled in. Emil needs access to an outdoor enclosure around the clock with a cat flap before he goes out for real. He would prefer to take care of his toilet needs outdoors, as he is used to. 😺 Emil asks for help…

Emil gick under ett års tid runt i ett bostadsområde. Han försökte få komma in hos någon och få hjälp, men ingen släppte in honom eller visste var han kommer ifrån. Han såg väldigt ovårdad ut och en vänlig själ lade upp ett inlägg på Facebook där hans ägare eftersöktes men utan resultat, så Emils historia förblir okänd för oss. Vi såg inläggen och förstod att han var i behov av hjälp så en av våra volontärer åkte dit och pratade med de boende i området för att lokalisera honom och ställa ut matstation så att han skulle gå att fånga in. Han var inte lätt men till slut lät han sig fångas in och visade sig då vara en helt tam och väldigt ömhetstörstande liten katt, han kan inte få nog av klappar nu! Emil var både okastrerad och omärkt, enormt smutsig, tovig och mager. Vi trodde först att han var en yngre katt då han är så liten till växten men Emil är nog en lite medelålders herre. Emil har nu blivit kastrerad och veterinärundersökt. Han har en gammal skada på en tass, en tå är borta och har troligen läkt av sig själv. I övrigt behövde han få äta upp sig och få kärleksfull omvårdnad och det får han hos oss. Välkommen Emil! ❤️ Emil är redo för ett eget hem som ensamkatt hos någon som är hemma om dagarna, Emil är lekfull och väldigt snäll. Han vill få gå ut så småningom i en trygg miljö sedan han bott in sig. Emil behöver ha tillgång till en rastgård dygnet runt med kattlucka innan han får gå ut på riktigt. Han vill gärna sköta sina toalettbestyr utomhus så som han är van vid. 😺 Emil ber om hjälp…
