Emmi has been living with us together with Elsa for many years and, unfortunately, has not had any luck so far in finding a home. She is a reserved and calm cat who, sadly, tends to hide quickly when visitors arrive, which is why no inquiries for her have come in so far. The lovely senior gets along wonderfully with Elsa, but some of the other cats quickly made her a victim of bullying. She would love to move into a quiet home together with Elsa. Until then, she urgently needs sponsors! Emmi happily lets our caregivers stroke her, and she also loves playing with cat wand toys. Despite her age, she dashes around enthusiastically whenever she gets her "5 minutes." Her remaining teeth had to be removed in August 2025, but she is coping very well with that. She can still eat dry food and treats. Unfortunately, her kidney values were somewhat poor after the operation, which is why we switched her to kidney diet food. Her kidney values were already significantly better in September 2025. Nevertheless, we still give her kidney food every day, and she is completely fit.

Emmi lebt gemeinsam mit Elsa schon viele Jahre bei uns und hatte leider bisher kein Glück bei der Suche nach einem Zuhause. Sie ist eine zurückhaltende und ruhige Katze, die sich bei Besuch von Fremden leider schnell versteckt, weswegen bisher keine Anfragen für sie kamen. Die hübsche Seniorin versteht sich super mit Elsa, wurde aber von manchen anderen Katzen schnell Mobbing-Opfer. Sie würde gerne gemeinsam mit Elsa in ein ruhiges Zuhause ziehen. Bis dahin braucht sie dringend Paten! Von unseren Pflegern lässt sich Emmi liebend gerne streicheln, auch das Spielen mit Katzenangeln findet sie toll und rennt trotz ihres Alters richtig herum, wenn sie mal ihre “5 Minuten” hat. Ihre restlichen Zähne mussten im August 2025 entfernt werden, womit sie allerdings super klar kommt. Auch Trockenfutter und Leckerlies kann sie weiterhin fressen. Ihre Nierenwerte waren nach der OP leider etwas schlecht, weshalb wir auf Nierenfutter umgestellt haben. Im September 2025 waren ihre Nierenwerte bereits deutlich besser. Wir geben ihr trotzdessen noch täglich Nierenfutter und sie ist total fit.
