I am Enrico … a typical Laika. I came into the animal shelter through a rescue and unfortunately had several previous owners already. Originally, I came from Russia, then was sold to Belgium – my journey wasn’t easy, but I remained a proud, brave dog. And I believe there is a home for me too. Would you like to know more about me? I am independent, robust, and determined. Trust takes time and experience with me. I will always be securely introduced to strangers, and I am familiar with the muzzle. I have bitten before, so muzzle management is important for me. Please do not underestimate that. If I have a person’s trust, I am very physically affectionate, seek closeness, and am a reliable protector. Grooming and coat care are right with trust. Laika-typical, I have a pronounced prey drive. With dogs, I am compatible depending on the bond; with male dogs of the same size or larger, I can be a bit of a powler on the leash. I travel well by car, enjoy being outdoors in nature, and can be motivated with food. My basic obedience is, however, still trainable. I wish for … experienced, confident people in a child-free home and a house with a securely fenced yard – far from the city hustle and bustle. Ich bin Enrico … ein typischer Laika. Ich kam über eine Sicherstellung ins Tierheim und hatte leider schon mehrere Vorbesitzer. Ursprünglich stamme ich aus Russland, wurde dann nach Belgien verkauft – leicht war mein Weg nicht, aber ich bin ein stolzer, tapferer Hund geblieben. Und ich glaube daran, dass es auch für mich ein Zuhause gibt. Möchtest du mehr über mich erfahren? Ich bin selbstständig, robust und entschlossen. Vertrauen braucht bei mir Erfahrung und Zeit. An fremde Menschen werde ich stets gesichert herangeführt, den Maulkorb kenne ich. Ich habe früher bereits gebissen, deshalb ist Maulkorbmanagement wichtig für mich. Bitte unterschätzt das nicht. Habe ich einen Menschen ins Herz geschlossen, bin ich sehr körperlich, suche Nähe und beschütze zuverlässig. Kämmen und Fellpflege finde ich bei Vertrauen richtig gut. Laika-typisch habe ich einen ausgeprägten Jagdtrieb. Mit Hunden bin ich je nach Sympathie verträglich; bei gleich großen oder größeren Rüden pöble ich aber an der Leine. Ich fahre gut im Auto mit, bin gern in der Natur unterwegs und lasse mich mit Futter gut motivieren. Mein klassischer Grundgehorsam ist aber noch ausbaufähig. Ich wünsche mir … rasseerfahrene, souveräne Menschen in einem kinderfreien Zuhause und ein Haus mit sicher eingezäuntem Garten – fernab vom Großstadttrubel.
