ERIS came to us on 23.08.2025 from Janowska Street in Konin as a roughly two-month-old tiny kitten. She was born in June 2025, so she is now about 9 months old - still a very young, energetic cat girl. ERIS is a nice, affectionate and curious cat. Like most cats, she needs a little time to feel safe in a new place, but she gains trust really quickly. Just a little patience, and soon she will check where she can "steal" some pats ❤️ She loves toys, movement and playing together - she is a young, energetic cat who will bring a lot of joy to the home. Over time, we began to worry that ERIS often has a cold. After tests it turned out that she is a carrier of feline leukemia (FeLV). What is feline leukemia (FeLV)? It is a viral disease of cats that weakens the immune system. However, it is worth emphasizing several very important points: - FeLV affects only cats - it does not threaten humans or other animal species. - Many cats with FeLV function completely normally for a long time, enjoying life like their healthy peers. - Proper care, good quality food, regular veterinary check-ups and a safe, indoor home significantly increase the comfort and lifespan of such cats.

Eris trafiła do nas 23.08.2025 r. z ul. Janowskiej w Koninie jako około dwumiesięczna, drobniutka koteczka. Urodziła się w czerwcu 2025 r., więc dziś ma około 9 miesięcy – to wciąż młodziutka, pełna energii kocia dziewczynka. Na co dzień Eris to miła, kontaktowa i ciekawska kotka. Jak większość kotów potrzebuje chwili, by poczuć się bezpiecznie w nowym miejscu, ale jej zaufanie zdobywa się naprawdę szybko. Wystarczy odrobina cierpliwości, a zaraz sama sprawdza, gdzie by tu „wyłudzić” głaski ❤️ Uwielbia zabawki, ruch i wspólne harce – to młoda, energiczna kotka, która wniesie do domu dużo radości. Z czasem zaczęło nas niepokoić, że Eris dość często ma katar. Po wykonaniu badań okazało się, że jest nosicielką białaczki kotów (FeLV). Czym jest białaczka (FeLV)? To wirusowa choroba kotów, która osłabia układ odpornościowy. Warto jednak podkreślić kilka bardzo ważnych kwestii: - FeLV dotyczy wyłącznie kotów – nie zagraża ludziom ani innym gatunkom zwierząt. - Wiele kotów z FeLV przez długi czas funkcjonuje zupełnie normalnie, ciesząc się życiem jak ich zdrowi rówieśnicy. - Odpowiednia opieka, dobra jakość karmy, regularne kontrole weterynaryjne i bezpieczny, niewychodzący dom znacząco zwiększają komfort i długość życia takich kotów. Diagnoza to nie wyrok❗️ To informacja, że Eris potrzebuje troskliwego, świadomego opiekuna ❤️ Eris jest już po kastracji i w pełni gotowa, by wyruszyć do swojego nowego domu 🏡
