Adopt Escobar

Mixed Breed · Male

ACTIVE ESCOBAR IS LOOKING FOR HIS HOME AGAIN....... Escobar born in October 2013 came to Pesaleidja from Narva in June 2021, was temporarily taken home, but now is looking for his permanent home again. The kitten is waiting patiently at the animal shelter for the opportunity to find his home again, loving family - a peaceful life until the end....... Let's help this nice senior gentleman! Please!!! The former foster home described the kitten as: "Considering how wild Escobar was when arriving at Pesaleidja, there has been a huge development and progress continues! It can be seen that Escobar is becoming more and more interested in two-legged beings. After spending time in a home environment, the kitten has made great progress. When Escobar arrived home a year ago, he was very shy and hid under the couch/bed for 2-3 weeks. Now, you can see Escobar comfortably stretched out on his back facing the sun, welcoming visitors from the yard and carefree playing with a ball. Initially, Escobar had anxiety about the availability of food (so-called food insecurity). He ate the whole portion quickly and often tried to steal food left in the kitchen. Now, Escobar eats calmly throughout the day and hopefully knows that there is always food for him. Escobar is curious and always ends up in the same room as the owner. Escobar is not yet accustomed to being touched by people, but should be gently approached and talked to. A quieter home would suit him best. Escobar plays and runs around the room alone, he always knows how to spend time independently." Escobar is neutered, vaccinated and has received internal and external parasite prevention. He is very much looking forward to a very special home ........ Click the button "I want this pet", read the adoption conditions, fill in the pet owner application and you are one step closer to fulfilling Escobar's biggest wish. We will contact you soon! If you cannot adopt this lovely cat yourself, but would like to become a sponsor and pay for his upkeep costs, read more HERE.

TEGUS ESCOBAR OTSIB TAAS OMA KODU....... 2013. aasta oktoobris sündinud Escobar kolis Pesaleidjasse Narvast 2021. aasta juunis, kolis mõneks ajaks koju, kuid otsib nüüd taas oma päriskodu. Kassike ootab varjupaika tagasi jõudes pikisilmi võimalust leida taas oma kodu, omad inimesed - oma pesapaik elu lõpuni....... Aitame rahulikku armsat seeniorhärrat! Palun!!! Peale koduses keskkonnas viibimist on kassipoiss suure arengu läbi teinud.

About Escobar

What life with Escobar looks like

Escobar is a adult mixed breed cat waiting at Pesaleidja MTÜ in Pesaleidja.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇪🇪Adopting from Estonia

The shelter typically completes the animal's vaccinations, microchipping, and pet passport before adoption. Specific fees and process details vary by shelter and country — confirm directly via the contact details in the sidebar.

Frequently asked

Adopting Escobar, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Escobar?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Pesaleidja MTÜ handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Escobar on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Escobar if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Pesaleidja MTÜ will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Escobar already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Escobar isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Pesaleidja MTÜ early rather than rehoming privately; they know Escobar and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (ET). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
